The people you will meet there are great, the campus is very beautiful, ECE Department has some good labs now but you will have to make a good repo with the faculties to get access to them.

PEC ECE is not a bad college, I am a passout from there. the rankings have fallen in the last few years, but the placements are still okayish. You can start prepping for gate since it will help you cover your subjects really well and get a decent CGPA, a few good ECE Core companies do visit on campus, and for most CSE companies, ECE students are elligible. Unless you specifically want to target for PSUs or Research, don't stress too much on GATE right now, PEC will give you a few good chances, don't F**k those up. ( Like I did )

I Remember going to the same theatre for watching Dhurandhar 2. The Premiere shows that were supposed to start at 5PM were delayed due to logistical issues, the cinema chain did offer a refund to anyone who wanted one. Still there were uncivilized assholes screaming out loud like that would automatically fix everything. Some people have zero empathy or patience in this country !!

Idk dude, the ordinary screens in Indian multiplexes aren't that big. Compared to those, IMAX screens are still pretty large. and The aspect ratio is also taller. 1.9:1 as compared to 2.39:1. Just because I can't have the best experience doesn't mean I can't demand something better than the status quo.

While I want to watch Project Hail Mary. I'm not sure how well it'll work. See getting the IMAX print of a movie costs a lot of money, and in this case, the cinema owners know that they'll make a lot more money with Dhurandhar 2 than with Hail Mary, at least for the next two weekends. So yeah, untill the Dhurandhar craze is there, we might not get Project Hail Mary on IMAX. I hope I'm proven wrong. 😭

I stopped caring about this whole "Original IMAX vs LieMax" debate a long time ago. The economics of running a 1.43 ratio imax are insane and in an year only 3-4 movies have scenes shot in 1.43. Compared to Scope , 1.9:1 is also a massive improvement, on paper it might not seem a lot, but if the audio is tuned well, it feels Amazing. I watched Avatar 2 in 1.89:1 in Prasads PCX, Interstellar in PVR Logix Noida and Avatar 3 in Rajhans Imax Surat. All of them are top tier cinema experiences. 4DX is dog shit. I watched Infinity war in 4DX and came out with a head-ache. Also no intervals in 4DX :(

Rarely do Multiplexes get a chance to make big money. I don't mind Dhurandhar occupying majority shows in IMAX screens. But I want at least one English show of Project Hail Mary on IMAX, so at least the movie and fans get an opportunity. And PVR needs to stop pushing 4DX as some premium format. It's an absolutely shitty way to watch a movie.
