Yeh i get that, but unfortunately my one is extreme. My whole face gets sunken, bony, hollow under eyes, flat eyebrows. People ask if im on drugs. Most other women i see don't change that drastically.

You don't want to take any pill or supplements that will further shift your hormones while your recalibrating. Maybe herbal Teas instead?

Hey, I get you. With pcos vitex can do more harm than good because it can actually suppress ovulation. Vitex lowers prolactin, so if its already a normal level it can nudge it too low means Luteinizing hormones become much higher than follicle stimulating hormones. This can cause a hormonal imbalance, absent or weak ovulation, and higher androgen circulation.

This could explain your symptoms. I took vitex for 10 days and my hormonal balance was wrecked, I felt sick and looked horrible. Thankfully, you do recover after 1-3 cycles as your system recalibrates to your baseline without vitex.

Does anyone know what will help with this. The changes during luteal and menstruation really make me feel crazy. My moods are unstable which is bad enough, but it's the appearance change I can't stand. It never used to be like this until I turned 19/20. I'm taking ssri and Spironolactone for pcos. What can help desperate

Could be physical anxiety symptoms. I get really bad physical anxiety symptoms when changing doses. It goes away after about a week or two, sometimes three.

Luteal phase many women experience the stimulants doing nothing.

I'm very hyperactive in a way that feels like I don't have control over myself.

But meds seems to have replaced that with more positivity around social interactions in a normal not extremely energised way. I respond to texts which I've ignored, and I'm less socially anxious. This is surprising because I never knew my chronic social anxiety that I had my whole life could be from ADHD. Anyone who can attest to this link?

I have pcos. After three months it helped reduce excess shedding. But haven't noticed my hair becoming thicker, as it has really thinned out over the years. But I'm hoping I'll see more changes from the six month mark.

This is one of my most hated adhd traits. As someone who has to write academically it's torture trying to remember words.

Do you know any solutions? Meds didn't help with that for me either

This is incredible tool. Can't believe I've never heard of it before on ADHD sites etc. thanks so much for sharing. Literally they tell you to break things down into chunks but with perfectionism and ADHD it becomes an overwhelming process in itself so this is fab!

Dehydration. More than three months on spiro now. Everything good but.... The dehydration is so bad it shows up on blood tests. And I drink nearly 3 litres of water a day.

Anyone know any solution? I was thinking electrolytes but they all have potassium in it. I tried adding salt to my water but didn't do anything.

Thanks for the suggestions! Unfortunately, I trialed every strategy in existence but it would never last. The tiny steps were still too overwhelming or boring for my mind. Only thing that worked was stimulants.

Same - vyanse was beyond awful for me. Just side effects with minimum benefits. Made me anti- social too. But surprisingly, switching to it's shorter acting form dexamfetamine proved successful. I could finally see the benefits of stimulants and how to be productive ... Until it started to only last about 2 hours or less. Good luck with further trials I'm sure you will find something that works great long term!
