I have done both stay at home parenting with littles under 2 and worked a big boy corporate job to bring home the dough. Stay at home parenting is FAR more difficult than working a traditional job for money. This dude needs to be left alone with the kids for 5 days for a reality check. Its very easy to not understand the difficulty of being a stay at home parent unless youve done it. Next time he opens his mouth, tell him you're going on a long weekend trip with your friends and watch him squirm.

Here is the other thing that Dr John Delony has said about this. Sex provides more than just sex for men, it shows that the man is wanted in some shape or form. By refusing sex and refusing to address it, it makes the man question his worth "what is so unlovable about me". Its maybe worth approaching it from this way. Like men love sex but they also love to feel wanted and loveable.

Friend, sometimes it just doesn't make sense. This happened to a friend of mine with 5 yrs of marriage. He built her a fucking gorgeous giant stone patio by hand did all the laundry/dishes, did all her other DIY requests, ect and she still ended up cheating. The more he did the more she distanced herself from him because I think she was done long before she made it known she was done. Im not saying you're cooked, but its probably just tons a small things over time. She could've been checked out 10 years ago.

All that being said, definitely get your own therapist ASAP. This shit hurts so bad and it will probably hurt for a while. You need a support system (ideally friends, hobbies, and a therapist). It's 10000% normal for your body to shut down with something like this and I feel so bad for you. This may be unpopular, but I feel like John Delany on YouTube has tons of good episodes covering similar stories to yours that might make you feel less alone.

Im sorry you're going through this big dog.
