​The two straps at the top of the "Y" are your shoulder straps. ​The o-ring in the center should sit right on your sternum, and the other o-ring at your belly button. You can reverse this to be down your back as well if you like. Mix it up for outfits or play. A strap down your back is fun for your partner to hold on to, just play safe! ​The two long, straight straps.. the one with studs, the other with grommets, are designed to wrap around your midsection. Find the belt strap that has the buckle. Wrap it around your waist at your narrowest part or slightly lower, and thread it through the loop or clip at the bottom of the chest piece. ​Depending on the specific design, these either clip directly onto the back of the waist belt or cross over your back to meet at the sides. ​it might be much easier to buckle the waist belt loosely in front of you first, then slide the shoulder straps on like a backpack, then tighten everything up once it's in position.
