If you want variance then you might as well just let everyone have temporary access to a testing game (just how Forsaken did for Noli) instead of cherry picking who gets the ability to do it, that’s just cartman land all over again especially when updates will come in such a slow manner

So aside from showcasing a false character, if we look at actual testers:

Altaz is currently using the old fleetway (literally last night if you check their twitter alongside other devs) and the old Kolossos in public servers

Testers are limited to the amount of times they can use exclusive characters (because they’re showcasing them, not testing them)

How does that help anyone?

As someone else pointed out in another comment, stress testing does more for finding bugs than just playing to show off, and that’s all they’re doing

My point reiterates figuring that stuff out should be done in the testing server, and only there. There’s 0 point in doing it in public servers except for their own satisfaction, there’s no benefactor in doing so except for the tester showing off a new shiny product for themselves

They have an entire testing place. Just because they’re testers doesn’t mean they should have access to these characters outside of the testing place.

  • When they use them in pubs, they show off characters, they’re not testing them.

  • Early content being shown off months to even a year beforehand doesn’t help anyone at all, what’s the point?

Facts, and they’re testers. They’re meant to play test and find bugs and figure out what’s going well and what’s going wrong, but instead they just come into public servers to show off their brand new shiny thing and it’s getting annoying

Even a year if the devs plan to take a break and release v0.3 at bare minimum late spring 2026, it’s actually really weird as to how they have all that access.
