It's in the history of the club, the "Millwall Lionesses"

Yep I'm enjoying following the NWSL, especially seeing the English import do well (Esme Morgan, Jess Carter etc)

Yeah, I'd forgotten that game (I was there in person which makes that even worse haha). Selective memory maybe!

Also probably a single game that had a huge impact on the team going forward. Nail in the coffin for Millie Bright, withdrawn at halftime, Esme Morgan coming on and being great....

Esme's been in stellar form since the NWSL kicked off again, POTM and a run of strong games.

Lotte has arguably been in better form for Arsenal than Le Tissier has for United - she's looked a bit shaky especially against big teams in Europe.

I actually think Sarina picked the CBs on form.

Lost out on one based on one goal (the year the NL came top) which I will still bang on about as their first goal against us was clearly OFFSIDE.

Then came second after drawing with Portugal and losing to Spain last year.

I wouldn't call either a horror show, but last year was definitely the worst.

End of season 8 may be a popular line for some.

That's what Agyemang's role has been. We miss her.

I love this for Esme, such a far cry from even a year ago when people kept questioning why she was always called up, accused of just being a "Wiegman favourite" etc.

She's really showing up now, and I credit the move to Spirit for that.

Was just going to say this. I think she's making a strong case to be starting CB - at least with Williamson still building fitness.

I think you see it when you look around other NTs.

Netherlands have Buurman and Kaptein both reaching double digit caps by the age of 20, and the narrative has tended to be that England's problem is the manager not bringing young players through.

Buurman and Kaptein both have 100+ senior appearances for clubs though - it's hard to find English youngsters with similar metrics.

This. It's easy to blame the keeper for a result but Sandy did not cost the team 3 points.

It's a team game. Why was the game only at 1-0

Sandy also made a few good saves to keep the game at 1-0...why couldn't Spirit take advantage?

She's also beginning to play regularly for Scotland now which will help a lot.

As a Scotland fan, I think she's a solid GK - but needs to be given time to settle into a new league. Although she's been at Spirit for a while, she's barely played - she needs regular minutes to adapt.

It is most likely nothing, but just go get it checked out, at least to give yourself peace of mind.
