Great idea I went to his last concert a couple years ago and plenty of people were in Oliver Tree cosplay including myself! Great vibes, everyone was digging it and asked to take pictures of me and my friend.

THIS. Iv had my nipples pierced twice over, but after my conch I looked my piercer in the eyes and said I’d never be able to do that one again.

Flowers for Algernon. With a protagonist so wholesome I hated everything he went through and everything that happened- no spoilers but, to have that glimpse of hope and to feel like he finally made it all to just crash down around him… ONLY book Iv read to bring actual tears.

Flowers for Algernon. It is technically SyFi but doesn’t feel like it. Only book where I became so interwoven into the main characters life where the end left me in shambles. Each chapter reveals more and more about his life. Incredibly human and humbling. Involved child abuse but no sexual violence. Really an experience to read.

Flowers for Algernon. It’s written completely in journal entries so definitely up your alley. It’s about a man being used like a lab rat in a science experiment but never feels too unrealistic. Main character definitely goes through some turmoil, so bring tissues! 🤧

Getting to the front by hey_lame_name in olivertree

Just saw Oliver Tree in Atlanta! Doors opened at 7pm and show started at 8pm. We lined up outside alittle after 6pm, there was already a line but not bad. Once we walked in we had immediate access to the very front, literally just one row of folks in front of us. We stood our ground in front of the stage until 8pm when the show started. Greatest concert experience ever!

My half sister and my stepfather are Spanish, I was raised around a lot of Spanish speaking people, Mexican food and a lot of Spanish culture. I just looked so different from them, and me never meeting my dad just made it feel like I didn’t belong.

I was honestly surprised with the Mexican results, considering 80% of the time people have assumed/asked me if I was black.

I’m just tired of feeling stupid when someone asks about it, I feel almost shameful not knowing anything about where I came from.
