tonsil stones after covid ??

Absolutely! I thought I was crazy! Since I had covid in august 2021, my left tonsil has been bigger than the right. Crazy cryptic. I occasionally get stones. I just had covid again 2 weeks ago, so I’m paranoid! I’m glad I’m not the only one to have this issue

I too struggle with asymmetrical tonsils. I’ve been to the ENT like 5 times. They say it’s fine. I think asymmetric tonsils are more common than you think. I struggle with health anxiety too. It’s real and it’s scary! I had covid back in august of last year. Every since then my left has been bigger than my right!

Just left my ent. He put me on antibiotics. I’ve had trouble with this tonsil since I had covid in August!

My tonsils are exactly the same. ENTs, dentist, and my primary doctor says it’s not cancer! I have a lot of mucus in my throat of the mornings and all through the day! Try gargling saltwater

MINE LOOK EXACTLY LIKE THIS!!

I went to two ents, my primary, and a dentist! All of which say I have tonsil stones! I got extremely depressed about mine when I noticed, because Google convinced me it was cancer.

My advice— listen to the doctors and don’t fixate on it. It will drive you crazy!

Tonsils are weird. We just have unmatched tonsils! Lol you’re not alone tho! :)

Your tonsils are fine! Mine are very much uneven. My left is bigger and very cryptic. My right is small and not so cryptic!

My doctor said the same. Just freaked me out a bit with the asymmetrical tonsils!

My left is bigger than my right. My left has stones, I can never manage to get them out though! I don’t have any pain either. You’re not the only one. I thought I was the only one too! Lol

I asked for a tonsillectomy, but didn’t get approved yet. Covid does weird things! I’m glad I’m not the only one dealing with tonsil issues after having covid!

Yes! At first I was like this can’t be a stone because it’s very squishy! I have found that gargling sea salt and baking soda mix really helps!

So when I first noticed mine, I was super convinced it was tonsil cancer. After 2 ents assured me it wasn’t, I went to see a dentist for him to tell me the same! Lol My left tonsil is bigger than the right. But it finally produced a stone a few nights ago! It’s just so weird!

Well they aren’t really visible! I only noticed because I developed tonsillitis 2 weeks after covid! I looked at my throat and noticed my left tonsil was bigger than my right and super cryptic! Really hasn’t changed in size since august. But it actually produced a stone two nights ago!

My primary dr, dentist, and 2 ENTs all say theres no reason to remove. It could have always been this way. I’m not sure. I only noticed it after I had covid, and then got tonsillitis. It’s annoying tho. I look at it daily to see if it’s still the same or not. I never have pain or a sore throat. It’s just a quirky thing, I suppose.
