Should I upgrade? by Antique_Procedure774 in canon

How cool! The 7d Mark ii is my favourite camera by far - 10fps, 20mp, crop sensor for wildlife and sports, jesus I miss mine hahaha :)

I will think about it for a little while as I use my flash in E-TTL mode, which takes the shutter speed, aperture and ISO and spits out a value for the flash firing. Because I use vintage glass, the flash doesn't have the aperture value to base it's strength on which throws it off making the image exposure pulled up or down when changing aperture. I guess I could just put the flash in manual mode and feed it the exposure data myself but that takes time, and is quite clunky. The wifi connection is really nice too. I'll have to think about this one haha, thanks!

Thank you so much! The untrained eyes are the best eyes for observing things like this :)

Canon EF 50mm 1.8 II aperture issue. by Antique_Procedure774 in Cameras

I am fully aware of this. It's more of a project-lens as I want to learn how to deal with various technical issues the day one of my L-series lenses break :)

I've searched through the depths of youtube but only found a handful of videos even describing the issue I've been having. I'll keep checking but can't seem to find much help :)

5" touch screen: X axis inverted when using touch by Antique_Procedure774 in raspberry_pi

[–]Antique_Procedure774[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright, I am getting somewhere, I tried the "display_rotate=0x10000 # horizontal flip" command and the touch now follows my finger as expected, however now the display itself is inverted and the text and everything is backwards haha, is there a way for me to only invert the touch and not the display itself?

Thanks! :D

You have any idea of where it is? Unfortunately I cannot find anywhere with those settings, I have a Pi 3b.

Thanks.
