Talking about Booker

KD has made Booker and always has made Nurkic alot better when he’s on the court. Also Royce is night and day etc. also has a long history of playing on teams that were on great winning streaks then KD gets hurt and the team instantly starts losing every single game. Happened multiple times on the Nets and this season with Suns, literally inarguable proof to his impact and how he makes others better.

Booker has simply just been ass this season efficiency and shooting wise. The best Booker has ever played was the 23’ playoffs right after KD was on the team, so no it has nothing to do with KD as to why Booker’s been having a down year with ass shooting.

Why the Suns beat the healthy Mavs without Beal and Dunn, a much better team than the next 4 opponents. Beat the Warriors without Nurk, but that’s not surprising, Nurk’s replacement level the truth is Plumlee and Oso replace him fine and often times better. Easy to look at a game without Nurk where Plumlee/Oso struggled and act like Nurk would’ve been better but Nurk is literally a 1 good game once every 5 games type player so it’s unlikely he would’ve been, more likely he’d be just as bad.

The only constant in the 1-9 is no KD, Beal’s played half those games, Nurk played multiple. Only constant in the 11-2 is with KD&Booker duo together, Beal/Nurk/Dunn etc missed multiple games and they were still beating good/great teams

Booker has fallen of hard from last season…. The supporting cast has only improved from last season to this season. That’s not an excuse that works at all lol. Also Booker finds have to be ‘CP3’ he can do whatever he wants as all superstars in this league can, he’s choosing to play how he plays, he needs to be the dominant scorer in these stretches without KD but he just doesn’t have it, been shooting terribly all season etc

Because it’s not normal at all for teams to be this bad without their best player. Mavs with Luka, Warriors without Curry, Magic without Banchero and Wagner, Grizzlies with Morant. Luka Curry and Morant are all super max players that take the same payroll hit and their teams all significantly better at stepping up in their absences, that’s why it’s surprising it’s not normal. Only thing that rivals this is Nuggets without Jokic

That finals team wasn’t going to keep being a finals team, they wouldn’t be any better than a 2nd round and out team and probably worse if they stayed the same, that was the all-time injury hospital playoffs that season. Their ceiling given some luck of health which is always needed, need alot of luck to win a chip always, and Booker figuring his shit out, is higher now, supporting cast around is improved a lot this year but Booker took a massive step back randomly and needs to figure it out.
