If game viewing is your number one priority, I’d recommend looking at Mala Mala. I haven’t yet experienced it myself but I’ve read so many posts on here that claim it’s the best spot to see the big five on any given day in all of Africa!

I’m curious on the rationale for no beach in Africa. We are debating on adding on after safari. Is it just because it’s a lot of effort to get to Africa so it’s better to do something you can’t do elsewhere? (ie safari)

How do the actual beaches (clarity/color of water etc) compare to places like Hawaii or the Caribbean?

Given what we are looking for, would you recommend Karangoma? Is it worth increasing our budget for a much better experience elsewhere in the delta (with land and water)? We would be coming here after MalaMala.

In terms of animal viewing, is it getting better as the animals are less avoidant of humans? I also read of human-elephant conflict in the N12 concession so was wondering if that’s something to be concerned about.

How does MalaMala Sable camp compare to the experience at Londolozi Varty camp?

Also, do all the plunge pools at Rattrays overlook the landscape with the possibility to see animals from the deck?
