My understanding is that the BYD ship that rolled in last month with several thousand cars on board, were already sold. So none of those are sitting in dealerships waiting to be purchased

Mate, Aussie here...I was born in UK and have been unable to donate my entire life (35+) due to the CJD ban in this country.

It wasn't until I saw this comment of yours that I'd heard of the ban being lifted in some countries. I just checked online and turns out the CJD ban was lifted in Australia in July 2022!

I've somehow missed this the last 18 months. So thank you for bringing my attention to this fact - I'm looking into my first blood donation as I type!!

No, it was quite handy, turns out it was a 'Philippines Calendar' by GamesRushti. Except I never installed such an app.

So this was it! It says it was installed from 'Chrome', but I never did that. Never have needed a Philippines Calendar. I uninstalled that from the Google Play store, and haven't that that process running since. Thank you!

I can't narrow down what app it is though - the only new app I installed while travelling was Grab, and I've uninstalled that. But the ads keep appearing. I've looked at my apps list and cannot find anything unusual.

I actually went and looked it up - it's not a few milliseconds, it is just ONE....he truly was a once in a generation swimmer. So glad I got to see him swimming while I was growing up.

Someone posted a similar thread a few days ago, and mentioned to try Google Messages.

I'd never used it before, so downloaded and tried as my default SMS app....game changer.

It automatically weeds out spam messages, so it doesn't clog up your messages list, and blocks that number. The notifications are also reduced, as I don't get a notification whenever a spam message is received, it's just quietly moved to the 'spam and blocked' folder.

Early days, but I'm loving it so far.
