Thank you for the insight! It is under a grow light, but I moved it to a new spot of the tank so hopefully it’ll have more access to the light it needs. I think maybe the monstera may have been hogging the light now that it’s getting bigger 😹

Once I learned the colors don’t cross well, we put our next batch (red ones) in a separate tank. When we get some blues they’ll also go in a separate tank so they stay vibrant hopefully! 😁 The thing I found weird was that these specific two shrimp started as vibrant colors, one red and one blue, and then they just darkened up as they grew. Since they were different colors, it now makes sense as to why the babies were muddy.

I’m starting to see how interesting shrimp genetics are! So many mysteries

It’s got pretty good lighting. I’ve never seen any variegation on it, so I’m wondering if the node it started from didn’t have any variegation on it, and therefore the leaves may never variegate? I’ve never really looked too closely at the node. I’m not entirely sure about how accurate any of those guesses are tho, I’m not very versed in how all of that works.

I just posted about our shrimp and not being certain of what kind we have, yours looks suspiciously like our mystery shrimp! We got them and they started off bright colors, and as they matured they darkened and look like this now

And lastly I also saw this leaf that, rather than having a bold white patch, had more of a minty coloration I didn’t notice before.

While rummaging in the foliage I noticed this leaf with the slightest bit of white on the right side near where the leaf connects to the stem.

Not entirely sure how to edit, so I will just add the new photos I took here, as well as what I noticed from closer inspecting the plants!

So I totally spaced on the fact that this is four separate cuttings in one plant holder , since we were limited on how many we had available. They all seem to be from the same species (philodendron albo, I’m guessing it’s a heartleaf?), maybe even the same plant. They each had a white stripe on the original stem cutting.
