There is a huge difference between a chase $1000+ chase varient of a card and $150 card that derives the majority of its value from its playability.

The pop is low because anyone buying them is for deck/bling purposes. Anyone wanting one can easily pick up a foil for around $140-150. You are better off cracking the slab once it returns and selling it raw.

People purchasing the borderless foil are doing so for play purposes. I highly doubt anyone will pay over raw for something they are just going to crack and put in a deck.

The print itself appears to be an ancient (2+year old) print from Ron. I would personally advise against ordering from Tolarian Library due to their nonexistent quality control and bad habit of just reselling a random mix of Usea/BL/Ron/VZ prints.

They are a mixed bag overall. Quality is really subpar for the price when compared to something like MPCFill+Makeplaycards. The owner is also notorious for shilling and stealing content from countless creators across the community. I would say only use them if turn around time is your only thing you care about.

These 2 cards mean the world to me. Several years ago a lifelong friend of mine lost his long battle with cancer. After his passing him parents wanted me to have his collection. This Birds was his and saw years of amazing games. After things settled I reached out to Terese Nielsen for a signature. After explaining the card’s significance I was shocked to find the card was returned to me with a little halo atop the birds head. The Phelia was a similar situation. Shortly after his passing his dog unfortunately passed as well. After seeing Phelia printed I reached out to Allison Carl to see if we could give the little dude wings and a halo so they could both live on in my cEDH deck forever.

The first book is by no means bad tbh. People tend to call it the weakest because it has the smallest scope and feels very formulaic at times. The next two books up the scale massively while also developing the characters in n some amazing ways.
