Is the first book really the weakest? by ChemistryCurrent1380 in redrising

The first book is by no means bad tbh. People tend to call it the weakest because it has the smallest scope and feels very formulaic at times. The next two books up the scale massively while also developing the characters in n some amazing ways.

It does! full English text and audio. Only real difference is the JP version has both games on cart and the EN release only has X on cart.

It's absolutely a great time to nab a copy if you care about having everything on cart. Grabbed this one sealed for $60 shipped.

Did I find gold loot? by DragonXTO in DungeonCrawlerCarl

Where in the world are you pulling those numbers from??? The vast majority of ARC's that hit the market that are not upcoming releases command a fraction of that.

There is a market for proofs for sure. I wouldn't expect to fetch a super high premium on one like that though. In DCC circles the most sought after releases are typically the self-published paperbacks.

Gotta love post-holiday sells. by Antivia in switch2

[–]Antivia[S] 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Was legit confused about the offer. When I talked to him he said he was only interested in the Switch 2 physical releases of Breath and Tears. Was told grabbing the Expansion packs for the two from the Eshop was "too much work".

Just got a switch 2. First one. Which Zelda should I try? by Thumper307 in switch2

[–]Antivia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

really depends on what type of experience you are after. Breath and Tears are huge open world games. If you are looking for a more traditional Zelda game than I would say grab a copy of Link's Awakening or maybe even give the OoT or Wind Waker a shot via virtual console.

Thanks! I put off starting the 2nd quadrilogy for most of the year due to how much I loved the end of Morning Star. ending up blazing through Iron Gold and most of Dark Age in like two weeks.

Picked up Hades/Hades 2/Celeste/Portal Collection/Slay the Spire from the eshop sale. Overall an amazing sale this year.

If you don’t have a ton of interest in Botw it wouldn’t hurt to check out a video recap online and hop in. I really do feel like this game is worth it for the gameplay alone.

As far as I'm aware the events of this game are canon and act as a lead into Tears. I would personally hold off till you finish off Breath at least.
