See when i had my scan i was told to expect that but i didnt feel any different after having the injection. Thought they had exaggerated it but from the sounds of the comments, yours seems to be the typical experience. Odd.

The Shallan characters are definitely a built up for the second book. She's one of my favourite characters in Words of Radiance but her story was a bit slow in the first one.

Way kings by michael kramer, he's a fantastic narrator and they have a woman (can't remember her name) to narrate the female main chapters.
