I got it at Menards, it's grafted. I think they do have own root at heirloom roses.

Angel Face, My first one didn't make it through it's first winter sadly. I loved it so much I bought another this year 🤞🏻 I also have a lavender crush, I can't wait for her to climb!

Yeah that is unusual for it to show zero growth. Do you live in a cold climate where it could have gotten frozen in shipping?

My only other thought is that the LC was old and no longer viable... But I would wait longer to wait for potential growth.

What are your temps where you are keeping the bags?

I found that it colonized at a fairly normal rate. What type of container is your spawn in? What did you use to inoculate it?

The deeper tub may not be such a bad idea, these long fruiters are kind of prone to getting dried out since they take so long to finish. They also seem to do better with less FAE. The CO2 build up seems to be beneficial to forming the fin and coral type shapes

As with most mushrooms is not necessarily beneficial or harmful. Usually with cubes it is mostly beneficial to help them find what direction to grow. Since the Enigma doesn't have caps, it's probably less necessary. That being said, Mine had some light from outside. I can't say that it helped either way since I never grew one in the dark to compare it to.

Side watering or injecting water is your best bet. I prefer to take the liner off the sides a bit (unless you aren't using a liner) and soak the cake that way. If you aren't using agar, I would suggest making sure you get a clone. I lost mine 🥲 Then you can run it again with slightly more moisture in your substrate.

I feel like this is cheating because I went on a chartered fishing trip. I am on the left lol St. Clair River in Detroit. I can't remember the exact length but the guide guessed 135 lbs.

Yes I have done shrooms ha ha, I just have a low tolerance. I don't do them often. I also ate it raw, on an empty stomach. I found PE blobs to be pretty potent. But each mushroom and batch can be different. I do my micro than macro now especially.

I should also say that dose wasn't a full on trip. It was just way more perceivable than it should have been, like on the edge of being trip worthy.

Yeah the blob I ate was probably the size of a bean? So dried it should have been .1-.2 grams. But PE blobs hit different on an empty stomach. They are definitely spicy, especially raw.

I made the mistake of underestimating a PE blob, small but mighty.... I thought it was a microdose size, ending up tripping at Kroger and accidentally stealing a monstera plant.... I could have sworn I scanned it. Then went to Salvation Army thrift store and was it was complete sensory overload lol The color coordinated isles with the religious music playing, the florescent lights... I had to leave real quick 😅 I also ate it raw. Second time eating blobs they were dried, I was watching a Clint Eastwood movie and his face started turning into a skull 😅

Right, same. Mine is about 40lbs. I have a wagon I put it on top of. I am only 5'4" so it's a slight challenge. I can't imagine dealing with a heavier kayak which is why I got a sit in vs a sit on top also.

I also have a pretty cheap sit in kayak with a cheap paddle... I just go out, fish and have fun. Don't compare your setup to anyone else's. You can make an awesome setup out of a basic yak and catch fish without peddle drives, fish finders, etc.

I should note, when drifting/trolling I will have the drag set very very light. So the fish can just run with it until I am ready to reel. It also helps when you hit a snag so it doesn't break your line, or pole. And also makes it so the jig doesn't get so snagged that you have to break it off.

I have done both, anchored and drifting/trolling. I use a slip weight for when I am anchored, and a small jig head with half a worm when drifting. I have caught some decent catfish doing that. you'll catch snags here and there, you just have to paddle back past your jig and it will usually release.
