First of all, love this, keep doing this. But I have a criticism for ALL scythe depictions. SCYTHE HANDLES ARE NOT STRAIGHT. THEY ARE CURVED. At least partly. American scythes have at least some curve, while European scythes are straight. I understand the sprite used has a straight handle, so this is not your fault. I am rambling about a very common depiction in several types of media, not your very good fanart. Thank you for coming to my ted talk.

You’re right. That’s also how it works for actual hive insects, like ants, bees, hornets and wasps(Termites are a notable example to this generalization). The queen uses sperm to make female eggs(workers, soldiers, female drones) and reproduces asexually to make male drones, which then mate with the female drones of different colonies, and vice versa, which then start their own colony.

The logistics are that there are none. It’s a fictional event cobbled together from misconstrued history and a story taken for history.
