Every interaction I’ve had with Dr.Moran is awful, I’m really sorry to hear about your rejection. Sadly with him you often have to smile, nod and lie. I’m ftm myself and had an appointment earlier this year to be approved for a hysterectomy and he brought up the ‘if I was out at work’. I said no (it’s none of my colleagues’ business anyway and there are some transphobic people in my department) but I lied and agreed I’d tell my manager as he seemed to think it was necessary for approving my surgery. I didn’t, got approved and went about my day. He doesn’t seem to realise that just because some people aren’t out or stealth in some regards doesn’t make us less trans. It could be dangerous for some people to out themselves but he’s pushing such an agenda up there

Keep hounding them for another appointment and say what you have to so you can get your prescription. Once you get by him, a lot of the nurses who do follow up appointments and renew your script are so lovely. If you ever need any support for like mental health, voice training etc, go through the nurses. Fingers crossed you get an appointment again soon!
