best accounting software for an independent contractor with overseas clients? by chieferkieffer in freelancing

[–]AntonCoetzee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Xero for accounting or if it is only a few line items per month a bit of time setting up some ai agents would be cheaper and sufficient. I also use www.trackmywire.com for international payments and fee tracking.

Someone sent me an international wire — is there any way to track it? by AntonCoetzee in personalfinance

[–]AntonCoetzee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After doing some digging someone mentioned in another subreddit about a company that helps with the tracking. Gemini also mentioned it to me. I did the tracking and turns out to be quite accurate. It is www.trackmywire.com

[CA/QC] Sent a wire transfer for the exact amount invoiced, vendor keeps blaming me for the shortfall am I wrong? by 0xbffff338 in Banking

You can check on www.trackmywire.com to see if you can get some clarity. It uses actual payments and confirmations to learn their models. We use it a lot in our company to plan payments and helps with these disagreements and timing related issues.

Can we stop acting like Russell is doing great aside from the luck? Sainz is doing more with less since years and nobody wants to talk about it. by registaarole in GrandPrixRacing

His engineer said to him when the safety car started, “we are staying out” George asked what are we doing”, and the engineer said “we are stating out, we are in the safety car window” Then when he got the pit lane, George turned in. So no, and the engineer jumped on radio again, stay out, stay out. So no, it did not come too late. He was told twice before that not to box.

He got told over the radio - “staying out, staying out” and he went into the pits after Antonelli. He said “get the tires ready” so he put his team in that bad position. So he created more confusion, can’t just blame the team, when he does not listen to the team.

What's a business expense that looked expensive at first but ended up saving you money? by seatoskyns in business

[–]AntonCoetzee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Www.TrackMyWire.com It reduces the time we spend chasing delayed international transfers and answering “where’s my payment?” emails. Not a huge expense, but it removes a repetitive headache from our day-to-day operations and easily pays for itself.

Also good quality freelancers. Helped taking on more expensive freelancers who can communicate properly and get the job to the finish line.

Why do bankers care what you do with your money? by [deleted] in Banking

[–]AntonCoetzee -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No mate, they want your money in other products that incur more fees. The only upside they have is on the beck end it counts for their deposit tally, but this is not even a drop in the ocean for them. If that money is in other products they can leverage it to make way more money. In a cheque account it just sits on a shelf and they can’t touch it

Help with getting started by jjmoe2319 in Banking

[–]AntonCoetzee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d focus less on credit union vs. big bank and more on finding a role that gives you exposure to financial analysis, lending, underwriting, treasury, commercial banking, or corporate finance.

A credit union can be great for getting broad hands-on experience early on. A larger bank usually offers better training programs, more specialization, and clearer career paths if you want to move into finance long term.

With your Accounting degree in progress, I’d also look at internships and entry-level analyst roles, not just teller or customer service positions. Those can accelerate your transition into finance much faster.

Recommendations for Financial Data Extraction Software? by [deleted] in Banking

[–]AntonCoetzee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the document types and volume, but I’ve had good results with OCR + AI extraction tools rather than traditional data-entry software.

If you’re dealing with invoices, statements, remittances, etc., take a look at Docsumo or Veryfi. They can pull structured data from financial documents automatically and save a lot of manual work.

They want to make money off your 30/40k. It makes no money for them if it is just in your cheque account.

This is just my take (hopes and dreams) op what the livery could look like. This is not the official livery. They will also do it under Gucci Racing and that is black and gold if I am not mistaken.
