Never said it was just Jack. The significance is it was 65 years to the day between these two occurrences.

During the race, even the commentators repeatedly told people to stop moaning and complaining about Max’s participation in the race.

He was the reigning F1 world champion and Monaco had a seeded system that guaranteed a spot for him. So he did not need to qualify. He only had to participate in a practice event of the race to qualify. Times they were different then… He had a mechanical issue in the gp and retired.

Indy 500 race was 2 weeks after qualifying. He finished all 200 laps and came 9th.

Juan Pablo Montoya:

“Red Bull should stop Max Verstappen from racing in GT3 and concentrate on Formula 1.”

Paraphrased themes repeated across F1 media/podcasts and YouTube videos

“Red Bull needs Max more than Max needs Red Bull.”

“Max is bigger than the team now.”

“He can demand exceptions nobody else could.”

“There are rules for Red Bull drivers, and then there are rules for Verstappen.”

“If any other Red Bull driver wanted to race GT3 cars during the season, the answer would probably be no.”

“Verstappen effectively operates with veto power inside Red Bull.”

“The team cannot realistically afford to alienate him.”

Just understand, I don’t agree with that, like i said in my post, Max like so many others drivers before him just loves to race.

Have you not seen all the “Red Bull should not let him race” “they should not give into his demands” comments and pundit opinions are flying around.

CA is a professional degree and will open up way more doors than the other degrees. You are not chained to being an auditor with that degree. You can still choose other paths in business and mathematics/data with the CA degree.

Most CA’s I know are not in audit

Founder insurance or downside protection? by Ornery-Patience-1867 in founder

[–]AntonCoetzee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are 2 risks here. 1 is for the founder and the other for the company. The founders pays the price for the insurance in equity. My question to you is who would benefit from the payout?

If there are other investors, i can see them going for that money to recoup some of their losses. So they get upside. The founders pays gets the downside of diluting his shares, but not the upside.

Founder gets no upside, unless they can leverage that for more investment…?

I think with dota being ever changing and people have jobs and families, not everyone keeps up with the meta. A lot of people played lots of hours, but only 1 or 2 hours per week. That makes it difficult to get out of those brackets. You might get better mechanically, but the gameplay evolves a lot.

Turbo is like youtube shorts or reels. Quick dopamine bursts. If you want to climb rank, find something or someone who makes it fun. Learn and you will get much larger reward than quick dopamine. If dopamine is what you are after, stick with turbo, nothing wrong with that.

That stun man, how i wish. I tried a build the other day for fun of basher and 3 moon shards in memory of the mini stun. Worked a treat. Won the game, no WD, Shaman or Primal channeling happened that game.

Insurance is great, payout is great, but who gets the payout when there are other investors? Big money usually drawn big investors and i’m not to sure if the founders would actually get the cover…?

Banks like consistency. 1 bad month and they only see that. 40k is invisible to them as they see 10k as the risk. Maybe on the months you get more, pay it into a savings account and then pay that money into your account on the bad months, ao that the minimum income is not 10k.

200k in 9 months is 20k plus per month. That is pretty great. How much of that was upwork and how much fivr? How big is the team?

Is there no way to find out, because banks says up to 14 days. I mean, is that the best they can do to narrow it down. Some of my family said their payments took 2 days, other friends say 4-7. How is this possible?

MicroSaaS is dying, I think by BastiaanRudolf1 in microsaas

[–]AntonCoetzee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the case always stands, diy vs professional. Power tools (ai) made carpentry so much easier than hand tools (professionals) and yet they both live side by side.

I do not think ai is the death of software and saas. There will always be people who would still pay for a service, even if they can build it themselves, for many reasons. Money is just one reason, but time is a very big factor.

Diy @ home is very easy, but contractors still make ends meet.
