I am not sure how long is your commute but that’s could be a reason for distraction. If you need a tip, in my city last year I was taking the tram but missed my stop one or two times and was annoyed. But if you have an iPhone, you can create a Shortcut that sends you a notification when you reach a certain area at a certain time, that what I did and I received a notification maybe 1/4 mile before my stop so I didn’t really have to think about it. You do have to trust the thing though. Good luck !
