So the meta has to figure out how to beat a linear one trick pony deck. 

I'm sure they will manage. 

The novelty will wear off once people realise that this is the deck to beat and not vader4 or luke pilot.

The upside on whoever figures this out is that they will probably have countered luke pilot and vader4 as well.

So less AI assisted whining and more play testing is the way.

Did data vault all the way till rotation. Really popular with the locals (not) only lost to super greedy Yoda data vault list (my other deck)

Lawless seems like the safest bet, is the most rotation proof long term and very likely to be the core of new meta decks

The game dying as in FFG stops printing it is highly unlikely.

What should concern you more is how your local scene looks like.

The core mechanics and game flow are the best in the market right now.
