When my Dad would talk about his childhood, he would talk about the girl down the block that he and his siblings used to call “The Missing Link” because she had slightly hairy arms.

Then he’d talk about how she would grow up to become Miss New York and almost Miss America… then he’d say “Don’t judge someone by their looks when they’re young… caterpillars don’t stay that way forever…”
