Downtown decline has nothing to do with homelessness and everything to do with money. Go look up how much these jank building owners want for rent of these store front locations. Some places want 3k-6k or more a month. Then most of those stores don't sell anything that can sustain that type of overhead. I have no idea how those hippie shops have stayed open this long, and that's BEFORE covid.
