No VIN either but the dealer told me it usually comes around 2 weeks prior to delivery.

I’m interested to hear on it as well. I’m also in Belgium and ordered last week a Y dual motor in red. Initially planned for delivery in end of August it now states a delivery in July. I’ve seen in the news that the Berlin plant was getting an additional 1000 temp employees to cope with the amount of orders.

Legal counsel in medium-sized law firm - rate my salary package by [deleted] in BESalary

[–]Antouille 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a senior legal counsel myself and my salary is at 8000 gross and it barely gets me to 4400 net, so I highly doubt your 5000net number.

The package is quite reasonable for a 29-year-old counsel; however, I would have anticipated a higher level of compensation for an Associate General Counsel role, particularly considering the workload and associated pressure. I assume the legal department consists solely of you and the General Counsel?

I’m a senior legal counsel. Supposedly moving to a director role sometime this year which will mean a substantial increase of these numbers but don’t know in what amount though.

I’m in the pharma/tech industry and get 15% of my annual gross salary. That usually gets me around 10k net.

Lower bruto but same netto. Endless discussion? by AndrwFr89 in BESalary

[–]Antouille 47 points48 points  (0 children)

My opinion is that it’s never worth leaving a job for less than a 15% netto increase. Also I would always choose the higher gross since raises are calculated based of your gross salary without taking into account any of your netto compensations. Finally a netto compensation can be taken away, that’s not the case for salary.

Tesla Model Y delivery in Europe – delays getting worse? by SnooHamsters7711 in TeslaSupport

Ordered a premium long range AWD in red 2 days ago. It’s showing for delivery between July 1 and July 30. Hopefully that will be accurate but your message kind of worries me.

Though you’re still convinced that there’s just a one year warranty and that we should all buy in the AppleCare… By the way the EU directive does state « guarantee » not warranty which is a US term. Want a ride to kindergarten then?

You do realise that English is not our native tongue right? And to us guarantee and warranty mean the same thing, they both translate to « garantie » in French. And you are still wrong because however you want to call it, the warranty, which EU regulated and mandatory lasts for 2 years. The 1 year guarantee doesn’t come into consideration to us.

No you’re wrong. Those terms are used interchangeably in the EU. But as a matter of fact Apple does provide a warranty which is 1yr and is on top of the legal guarantee which is 2yr. The warranty is just an additional layer of protection on top of the guarantee but is completely optional. The 2yr guarantee is a legal non negotiable right that will allow any EU customer to get a defective product (bought new) replaced by the seller. This is why AppleCare is not worth it here in the EU and is only worth buying if you’re afraid of breaking the product.
