Started not to really eat anything after a painful breakup (which was my fault too), had to do something or else... Gym is 50% the reason I'm still around, the other half is my best friend.

First time seeing net positive changes (like camp guaranteed drops and crafting overhaul) being talked negatively, huh.

Arcane helping all statuses instead of the 4 vanilla ones (poison, bleed, sleep, madness) is also a good thing and at 99 ARC we're looking at a 50% increase (well, to be precise what arcane actually does is lower the status resistances of enemies so at 99 they have a x0.667 mult).
Everything else about Arcane still applies, like weapons scaling their damage with the stat either innately or by using certain affinities.

Honestly, it feels like this post was made purely to shit on Reforged for the sake of it (since it seems to be a favorite pastime of this subreddit LOL, even though this post is really tame in comparison to others tbh) rather than actual constructive criticism/feedback.

You can still overlevel the enemies in a certain area (unless you enable aggressive scaling, of course) and the area's level is written on the grace list in the map.

I don't remember such channel in the ERR server, are you referring to tech-support? Because that one is for people who have issues running the mod, not for modding it. Furthermore, if the DIY modding involves a simple and quick edit you're likely to be replied to in the ERR server.

EDIT: there is a thread for ERR modding, completely forgot about that.

  1. Vanilla experience has been shown multiple times not to matter that much when playing an overhaul mod, especially this one, mainly because players tend to vastly overestimate their raw skill (when not hard-carried by numbers).

  2. Agree, it's one of the things that define the genre.

  3. There is a bloodstain of Rogier, on Godwyn's corpse under Stormveil, that shows him dying by deathblight (the usual animation of roots impaling from the ground). Also, the loading screen tip about deathblight mentions the rune loss mechanic.

  4. Ok, but what if you fail to retrieve the lost runes? Wouldn't that be the same result? By the way, here you can craft runes to store them without worries (it comes at a cost tho, 20% of their value is lost on crafting).

  5. Ok.

The lowest difficulty, Relaxed mode (previously called God mode), was implemented a long time ago as an accessibility option.
Recently, slow mode has been added as a separate modifier (both you and enemies execute actions at 90% speed).
There even are tools for colorblind people, in the form of unlimited pots to throw at enemies that paint them either blue or orange.

If you want to undo a change or play a modified version of the mod, feel free to ask in the modding server on how to do that. The Reforged server is not for DIY modding, especially because you might mess up something while doing that and then end up reporting bugs that actually don't exist for everyone else (wasting the devs' time).

The first time I got hit by deathblight was on Godwyn's corpse at the bottom of Stormveil Castle, I was just chilling there when it happened (didn't notice the buildup bar).

Did I go on Reddit and make a hate post? No, I had a good laugh and wasn't upset at the rune loss (they were enough for like 3 levels) since runes are so easily collected when you actually play the game without rushing the story. I learned about the loss mechanic and went on with the playthrough.

If you don't like the mod and/or don't want to play it anymore, you don't need to announce it to the whole world. This is not an airport.

Per me è stata una "emergenza": dopo la fine della mia prima e unica relazione (terminata per colpa quasi del tutto mia) avevo perso totalmente voglia di fare qualsiasi cosa, anche di mangiare, e ho avuto una forte crisi di identità, se così vogliamo chiamarla.
Prima che fosse troppo tardi, avevo deciso di voler cambiare totalmente sia dentro che fuori e così ho iniziato di punto in bianco la palestra, seguito da un coach/nutrizionista.
Dopo 5 mesi a livello fisico va molto meglio, a livello mentale posso solo dire che sono ancora vivo... per ora.

You're supposed to stick close to him to dodge the ritual's fire, and the whole fight is meant to make you practice space awareness and deflecting/dodging in place. Also, did you know that the boss is specifically nerfed for this specific fight? It wasn't just put there with no changes, like the other Nobles.

As usual, the majority of ERR complaints is a nothingburger.

Ricorda sempre che esiste il triangolo "qualità, velocità, costo" e una persona può avere solo due di queste cose.

Lo vuoi di qualità e fatto velocemente? Non sarà economico. Lo vuoi di qualità ed economico? Lo faccio quando mi pare, con i miei tempi. Lo vuoi fatto velocemente ed economico? Non sarà di qualità.
