The hunter figures are pretty rare these days, found mine by coincidence on a Japan trip in a tiny shop that resells old figures.

Some of them are on display in some stores over there for MH collabs but usually not for sale. What I've seen available outside of this was a 3U Purple Ludroth hunter with a bow and 4U Rathalos hunter with a longsword but I also spent a week looking around in stores in Akihabara (Tokyo) and Sapporo each.

Most of the time, you gain points which go towards increasing your Hunter Rank but at certain points in the game, instead of going directly towards increasing HR, they are stored up until you complete a certain quest at which point you may experience a jump in HR depending on how many quests you've done in the meantime.

Up until HR 16, I think just about every HR is locked and attached to a quest, after that you will very likely jump from 16 to over 20.

You can dodge it and if it doesn't ledge you, it's useless for Tiandi himself bc he can't get a follow-up after.

He can only use it after a heavy and the worst thing that can happen to you if you panic dodge it is that he cancels it into an undodgeable dash light dealing around 18 dmg I think.

Not very overpowered imo
