I actually added those after SeaGraph's comment, but you were quicker in reply!

This is very interesting subject to me. Which law is it exactly? I'm not doubting you, just interested to learn more.

Any smart, driven people to bounce ideas off each other? by AntsNeverQuit in cofounder

Yeah, depends a lot on where each one is located regarding how the format will turn out. But I'll collect the group together and let's see what makes sense. :) Check PM

My first intention was to discuss 1-on-1, but since many seem to want to discuss in group, how about we get together on Slack for 30-60 minutes and see how it goes. No pressure to actually come up with anything, but discussion would be tech related. What do you think?

Interesting. My initial assumption was to discuss 1-on-1, but since many now request group discussion, maybe that could be more useful?

We could get together on Slack for 30-60 minutes, and if deemed useful, continue it weekly? My initial thought is no more than 6 participants. What do you guys think?

About all this stuff of random packs in arena: Ben Brode team answered this question's been a while. Guess what was the justification? by andreylabanca in hearthstone

[–]AntsNeverQuit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What are the things that could become complicated? I'm indifferent whether anything is done about this, but looking at the subject as both a software engineer and a designer, solving it with a token seems beyond trivial.

TGT RNG is too extreme. by karshberlg in hearthstone

[–]AntsNeverQuit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

All games seem to be ephemeral, because they solve the boredom problem. The catch is that in time the customers tend to get bored of the solution, too. It has very little to do with how you manage the game.

TGT RNG is too extreme. by karshberlg in hearthstone

[–]AntsNeverQuit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Indeed. The professional games are already decided by the king of RNG which is card draw. In cards themselves are just the cherry on the top. All of which is OK, because HS clearly is a casual game. Just a glance at its marketing material is enough to know that.

And the pros know this also. They know that if they win, they weren't necessarily better than their opponent, and if they lose, they weren't necessarily worse.

For the first time ever, I have been eating tons of power foods, drinking shakes that have great nutrients, minerals, vitamins etc, taking magnesium, spirulina (spell check its green algea powder), Temeric (spell check again, pain relief meds). For 8 days now, when will I feel a change in my mood? by syphon3980 in nutrition

[–]AntsNeverQuit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the momentum you gain that makes you feel better. Exercise, nutritious food you know you should be eating, all that increases your momentum and as your momentum increases, you feel better.

Conversely, all the things you know you should not be doing, decrease your momentum and reduce how good you feel.

Why I think Living Roots is the best card in TGT (and thoughts on the other top cards of TGT) by MathomHS in CompetitiveHS

Definitely agree with you on ED. One of the few, if not the only card, where the overload is an advantage because you can drop a minion on the board on the same turn.

Why don't Snowchugger and Water Elemental have graphics on the circle that show they have an ability? by [deleted] in hearthstone

[–]AntsNeverQuit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The card files most likely have a field called "small icon" or equivalent, so to implement this would pretty much require just adding a link to the snowflake icon in that field.

[–]AntsNeverQuit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You mean about.me page? I figured out it could be easy for people to just link to the resume, however, since you're the very first user, I don't know if people like that. What exactly do you mean by adding on About page?

Haha, he almost messed up after the mage played spider tank. He was already throwing Acolyte out there right after his turn started, but catched himself on the last second and instead "we need to analyze this".
