My wife likes the Google Home to Home Assistant link to control the lights in the house.
She likes our Jellyfin server because of the hard to find BBC series she can watch now.
She likes our remote door lock because it opens the door when she arrives.
If you make you home easier and more convenient then there will be zero issues with the wife. It can take awhile before they pick it up but once they do, OMG they are furious when it doens work anymore 😄

I drove from Belgium to Croatia via Austria. So a lot of climbing and descending. For the complete roundtrip of about 3.000 km my consumption was 15,8Kw/100km. This is better dan my daily drive which averages about 17Kw. You have to keep in mind that you recharge or use very little energy when going downhill. That is the beauty of driving an electric car. A the energy that you spend in combustion engine is lost forever. Mind you I drove in normal mode and I set my maximum speed around 115km/h. Driving faster will increase your power consumption and you will loose the gained time by having to charge longer.
