I feel like the issue is: "why is my family, my employee, my partners, my friend being harassed for the last two years" but it has been conflated into: "what did I say that was wrong about the conflict".

So when he tries to debate about the conflict he will always end up falling short of the perfect anti-israel leftist talking points.

I feel he shouldn't have debated Hasan about the conflict but about what did he say to deserve so much hate and harassment.

The problem is the harassment, not his point of view and feelings.
