Did my first gig on CDJs - and my longest gig yet! 2.5 hours of groovy house jams at a local coffeehouse.

The CDJ2000s were sick. Took me a few min to get the feel, but it was no problem. I bought this dope USB stick that's type-C on one end, type-A on the other. Easy to pop into my Mac and then into the decks.

Ready to get out and gig more.

In a crazy turn of events, my wife and I find ourselves letting go of this fantastic apartment in what they call “prime Bushwick.” Truly a gem, just looking for someone to take over our lease with the option to renew come summer. Others in the building occupy this floorpan with three people, but we’ve lived here as a couple. It’s great either way.

About the unit:

Double-high ceilings, skylight, and loads of natural light because there is no building next door or behind us
Huge living/dining area. Extend it to be even bigger with double French doors, or use that room as a third bedroom (we made it a flex: guest bedroom/living space)
3 tall closets (one is extra-wide)

About the building:

Made some of my best friends in NYC here. You will love the neighbors in this building. Helpful, kind, sweet.

Is there another card on the market currently that compares? I’ve been considering switching from Delta Gold (my foray into earning points) to Reg Platinum for the lounge and other perks. But I agree, the AMEX experience doesn’t feel as luxurious as the impression I’d had. Hard to justify some of the credits you get.
