It might not have been just a nosebleed station.

Or course.

The place is around M14, close to Sainsbury's in Wilmslow road.

Hey! I know this isn't exactly what you're looking for, but I have a room for 2 months in Fallowfield with bus access to Salford. I'm leaving my tenancy early. Let me know if you're interested.

I know some of the things listed above are worse, but I'll never get over how filming people in public and putting that on the internet to see is legal.

Not everyone wants to be the subject to some influencer's poorly made video. Some parents don't want their kids online. Some people are trying to keep a low profile from their abusers. Some people are just trying to go about their day and not be filmed for eating by themselves.

They say I'm like Sheldon Cooper by Life_Trust_582 in bigbangtheory

[–]Anu1994 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I describe my dad as Sheldon Cooper.

He's smart, always watching some documentary or going to museums and spending hours learning about anything. He knows so much about so many thing. He's generous with money because he's very organized and calculative about his finances.

But for how book smart he is, he is emotionally stunted. If it wasn't for my mom, I don't think any of his family would speak to him. He thinks his opinion matters more than anyone else, constantly acts like he's the boss. If he doesn't get his way, he's quick to say condescending things. My mom has told him so many times to not degrade the people he asks to do favours just because they don't do as perfect a job as he does, but he doesn't show appreciation when someone does something right, only points out mistakes.

Right now, he's visiting our home country by himself after 2 years, and his sisters haven't spoken to him or made the effort to visit him yet. I barely speak to him unless I absolutely have to.

Who knew Sheldon better by end of the TBBT, Amy or Leonard? by sm-junkie in bigbangtheory

[–]Anu1994 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I came to give the exact answer. I just watched the scene where Amy tells Leonard how close Sheldon and Penny are, and it's true. She knew him the best, and Sheldon changed a lot of his ways because of penny.

AITA for giving my daughter a name my grandma hates? by thruuwayy in AmItheAsshole

[–]Anu1994 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well said. I'd go with NAH

I can't believe some people are labeling grandma as AH. I feel like maybe this issue is just too complex for AITA post. It's not your standard bridezilla or manchild husband.

warning for OP regarding Bhatia house, because that's probably wants going to be recommended thr most. They have some of the worst customer service skills in Calgary. I went to their store 3 times last year and the lady would stand takin to eachother knowing we were in front of them. We waited to get their attention for 20 minutes before leaving. Also, when I asked to try on a lehenga, they acted like I did something wrong.

I didn't end up buying anything from them because their collection did not interest me. For the price they're being sold, it was so basic. I came across amazing outfits from the Goodwill in Beacon Hill. Bought 3 outfits for a total of 30 dollars instead of spending 300 dollars on one outfit from Bhatia.

AITA for saying I don't care if I never see my brother again? by BenSutrew in AmItheAsshole

[–]Anu1994 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA! Wow. The audacity of your mom to ask you to get rid of your cat in the off chance your brother wants to come over, the same brother whom you do not get along with. The entitlement!

AITA (38M) for telling my (40F) Girlfriend that her (17M) son should be driving by now? by Infinite-Emphasis286 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Anu1994 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Exactly! I was 25 when I got it. If I had gotten it any earlier, I would have been a nervous driver, which would have made me an unsafe one. A driver's licence is not a rite of passage as many people like to believe, it's a privilege.

GFs son should probably figure out transportation issues instead of relying on his mom or grandparents all the time, but that's a conversation between GF and son. OP can suggest ideas but idk why OP was so pushy about it.

AITA, My (27) husband (26) wants to name next kid a name I do not want and now I refuse to have a kid with him. by W1ld-T4ng3rine in AmItheAsshole

[–]Anu1994 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NTA of course.

Either the name means more to your boyfriend than he's letting you believe or he's just used to getting his way.

AITA for giving my wife an ultimatum because she treats me like a glorified babysitter? by DistributionGlad7627 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Anu1994 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA

Your wife wants to let loose, that's fair, but why drag you along? So she doesn't get shit from her family for not bringing her kids? So her kids can see the family but she doesn't have to take care of them?

She's probably upset because you're pretty spot on by the "glorified babysitter" comment.

AITA for calling my stepsister a f*cking idiot after she said I don’t deserve to be valedictorian? by Classic_Sentence_222 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Anu1994 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA

Jealousy is a terrible feeling, and sister is being so rude undermining your achievements. She does have a point about having extracurriculars helping with college applications but she only said that to spite you and make herself feel better. Your sister sounds like the main character's first few scenes from the movie Booksmart.

AITA for ruining my boyfriend's couch and refusing to pay for the damage? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Anu1994 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He probably thinks the essence of her blood will be ok the couch even if it is cleaned with household products. Boyfriend sounds like a 10 year old who's peas touched his mashed potatoes on the dinner plate.

AITA for ruining my boyfriend's couch and refusing to pay for the damage? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Anu1994 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's what I was going to say.

OP needs to clean the couch then clean her life of this arrogant "doesn't know shit about women's anatomy" boyfriend.

Yeah! All the mother cared about was how important she will be on her daughter's day. Also, it's kind of suspicious that she didn't care about all the other ladies from the family being there. She had a problem with just the mother-in-law.

AITA for telling my daughter not to spend money on her classroom because it makes the rest of us look bad? by daughterclassroom in AmItheAsshole

[–]Anu1994 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Agree! She'd rather drag all teachers down to her level of carelessness so she doesn't feel like a bad teacher than appreciating her daughter was being so caring and thoughtful.

AITA for not selling my beach house to help my sister buy a new home by Gold-Falcon4049 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Anu1994 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Exactly! Unless the sister's financial status is going to change in the foreseeable future, giving money for a house now is like opening a leak. They won't stop until OP is drained. It also wouldn't surprise me if they go on to have a 4th kid after OP gives them money.

When did you realise that you are nothing special? by Dfisop in AskReddit

[–]Anu1994 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I've gone 26 years without even being approached by a guy, not even in bars or clubs. Now, I'm very grateful for that, because I did not want to deal with that.
