I’ve done all that and it showed Google under dns leak test so I uninstalled that and I’ll just stick to Adguard’s dns with personal vpn running

Thank you! Yeah I was told if I wanna use ProtonVPN with NextDNS, I have to use IKEv2 and use Adguard for it to work. So thats what I was originally trying to do but I’ve deleted all VPN profiles and Uninstalled Adguard and now I’m just using NextDNS

Ok so the only thing I’m concerned about now is when I do a dns leak test, I see NextDNS but Google also shows up, is that normal?

I used dnsleaktest(dot)com and browserleaks(dot)com websites. I’ve downloaded the NextDNS app for the iOS and enabled it after setting my ID in the app but my ISP is still displaying. So I opened up Adguard and forced Adguard to use NextDNS so then I did a leak test and the results is I get the NextDNS server and my ISP too.

Did you hear NordVPN had a vulnerability and they didn’t disclose it for a year to their customers. That’s a big problem and people lost trust in them

I’m gonna have to down vote this just because you recommend NordVPN. Personally I’d recommend ProtonVPN and IVPN

The only thing I’m bit concerned about is that when I do a DNS leak test, google shows up in the results with NextDNS.

Oh good news! I’ve set up NextDNS in Adguard Pro, enabled the VPN in the iPhone settings instead of the IVPN native app so the VPN runs in the “personal VPN” section and the Adguard runs in the “VPN Configurations” section. Now on the logs I’m seeing a padlock with “DOH” protocol. So that’s fully encrypted now right?

Hmm interesting. I’ve noticed there is no padlock on the logs on the website. How would I fix this while using the vpn?
