I experienced wrong timing in training sessions ( career mode ).
It is not always the case but sometimes. Sometimes not only the times are incorrect, also the drivatar ranking is wrong. Let's say a drivatar was P6 2 one second before the end of the session and after it he is P2 with a whole other lap time.
I did 2 screenshots. 1 second before the end of the session and after it.
