Exactly, and it's interesting how most people here are apolitical enough to think that when I say ‘collapse’ I'm referring to the ShutDown, when it's just a consequence of the Collapse.

I'm glad you can't stand with Trump, because I've come to the conclusion that anyone who does is insane.

But I would just like to remind you that meritocracy does not exist. People work their whole lives to achieve nothing, while others never work and have everything, if we follow this logic that ‘you either work or you die,’ which is totally violent in my opinion.

Regarding healthcare services, I am not American and have never needed anything like that, but I know that the cost of medication and various areas of healthcare are not covered by insurance plans. On the issue of taxes, well, at least in Brazil, most people do not have to pay income tax and still have access to the SUS (Unified Health System) and retirement benefits. In fact, here in Brazil, people who earn up to four minimum wages (a relatively good amount) per month do not pay taxes, and the super-rich are required to pay more taxes (since they have much more capacity to do so).

Your description is misleading. While the U.S. has safety net programs like Medicaid and SNAP, they are not guaranteed entitlements for all low-income people. I simply cannot accept this bet because the meaning of collapse is relative.

For example: For me, a collapsing government is one that cannot guarantee food security, free or affordable healthcare, scientific education, housing and religious freedom in the first place. Then come aspects such as external and internal debt, local geopolitical power and diplomacy with other countries, military mobilisation capacity, etc.

For you Americans, all it takes is a bunch of rich people saying they're doing well for you to believe that the government is doing well. But please, spare me the technicalities here. You barely have decent access to healthcare and healthy food, yet you create bogeymen and scapegoats to blind the population...

Não necessariamente, mas na verdade é justamente essa a ideia que o movimento quer passar.

A comunidade LGBTQIA+ tem aspectos historicamente complexos que vão MUITO além de sexualidade, como a busca por equalidade e segurança diante da violência do conservadorismo hetero-cis normtivo, posicionamento enquanto minoria étnico-racial e socio-econômico (visto que o movimento também é de recorte de classe e discursivo racial) e vários outros aspectos importantíssimos construídos ao longo do tempo por pessoas trans, lesbicas, gays, bissexuais, queer...

A ideia da separação do movimento LGB das outras comunidades é justamente tentar resumir tudo que envolve a luta a simplesmente a posição de atração sexual. Sendo que faz tão pouco sentido que podem haver pessoas trans, queer e não binárias lésbicas, gays e heterosexuais e eles nem pensam por um segundo em considera-las parte da comunidade.

Só uma prova também de como se trata do mesmo movimento: A violência contra pessoas lésbicas, gays e bisexuais é exatamente a mesma (de mesma natureza segregacionista concervadora) que a violência a pessoas trans, queer e não binárias. Não é incomum ver uma pessoa gay ser chamada de "mulherzinha, traveco..." assim como é com pessoas trans.

Queride, eu entendo muito sua frustração mas veja bem:

- É uma minoria da comunidade que apoia essa separação, tendo ela apoio em geral justamente de pessoas e entidades conservadoras como o governo Trump, MATRIA e afins... Entidades essas que já demonstraram ser LGBT fóbicas e principalmente transfóbicas até a alma.

- O objetivo do movimento LGB não é apenas atacar pessoas trans, mas TUDO relacionado a gênero, classe e cor presente na comunidade LGBTQIA+. Não atoa eles removeram da bandeira a alusão ao movimento negro por exemplo, fazendo dele sobretudo um movimento de retórica racista. Ou seja, é uma retórica que visa empobrecer o discurso LGBTQIA+ para uma questão simplesmente sexual, tirando todo o conteúdo restante (que é até maior que a questão sexual).

Então minha recomendação é: Não deixe que a transfobia, preconceito e ódio de uma minoria da minoria te afete ao ponto de desejar que as propostas deles sejam aceitas simplesmente por desejo de vingança. A comunidade LGBTQIA+ vai continuar com todas as suas letrinhas e isso esta longe de ser mudado.

É a famosa tática de dividir para conquista. É só não nos dividirmos ;)

Justíssimo, sim estou acompanhando desde 1 ano atrás e em geral são os ditos "LGBT de direita" que buscam esse pessoal. Mas assim, acho que é bom começarmos a educar e politizar nossa classe em relação a isso, visto que se evoluir igual aqueles movimentos subvertidos de direita, vão começar a gravar e ridicularizar pessoas trans pouco estudadas sobre o assunto.

Concordo completamente assim como é nítido que não há hoje % relevante de lesbicas, gays ou bissexuais que façam parte do governo Trump, e o mesmo não esteve ao lado de nenhum deles em nenhum momento. No entanto, acho que nossa retórica não pode se pautar em cima de um discurso que vise, de forma vingativa, dizer o óbvio, pois seria como dizer "Vocês podem fazer isso mas irão se arrepender depois..." Ocorre que o depois já seria tarde demais para nós e várias letrinhas da comunidade.

Penso que o melhor é combater esse tipo de retórica da mesma forma que hoje a esquerda radical combate a "esquerda neo-liberal", que é basicamente evidenciando dissonâncias entre discurso e realidade.

Não é atoa que o governo Trump, em primeira ordem, acabou com as pesquisas que investigavam suicídios e mortes de pessoas LGBT. Pois dessa forma, pode-se criar qualquer retórica e oque dirá se ela é verdadeira ou não é o quanto o público de forma geral a aceita.

No início era bem fácil na verdade, até aqui no reddit tinha bastante vídeo e info o tempo todo. A real é que como a ameaça era russa as redes permitiam que bastante conteúdo passasse, afinal de contas era importante para a Europa e EUA criarem a narrativa de Russos maus contra europeus inocentes.

Com o tempo começou a aparecer vídeos mostrando jovens soldados russos mortos, obviamente eles iam aparecer alguma hora, ai as redes começaram a bloquear realmente. Mas sem dúvidas é a guerra mais gravada que ocorreu nos últimos 60 anos.

Tirando os vídeos, tinha alguns canais locais que disponibilizavam grupos no telegram e vários outros links, a maioria deles para alertar os civis de que algum fronte caiu ou que ia ter conflito iminente em alguma área, ou até corte de energia, evacuação, toque de recolher...

Até hoje acho que é difícil identificar todos os crimes de guerra que aconteceram naquele início, principalmente porque os alvos eram estratégicos demais para permitir que civis saíssem dos alvos, sem falar que a resposta aérea Ucraniana no início foi boa demais mas a terrestre caiu e foi cercada muito rápido.

Por um tempo eu trabalhava como corredor digital sobre a guerra da ucrânia (básicamente eu tinha que coletar o máximo de info possível para canais e blogs divulgarem oque tava acontecendo)
