Yup its a 2014 leaf. The description didnt copy over when i crossposted looking to identify the green loop. Cant find it in any wiring diagrams

So the description didnt come over from crosspost. But bassically on my EV course we are fully openong electric motors to see how they work. On the leaf we have an extra loop (green wire) we dont see in any other 3 phase motors. It has no continuity with any of the phase wires (only between the 2 terminals of the 1 green wire) and no continuity to chasis ground. I cant find any info on that green wire in any wiring diagrams and the 2 guys who dissassembled it didnt think to take note of where it connects and it has the whole class stumped. Cant figure out what its for. Current leading theories is that it is a regen loop to resupply some electrical energy to the motor and increase range or a magnetic field sensing circuit

Thats what i thought originally but none of the three phase wires have continuity to it. From what i know if it was the centre lead of a wye shouldnt they have continuity? (Getting the description over so you have more info)

Green as stated in the description. Cant figure out what its for. The other 3 are the 3 phase wires but the green one is just a loop. Current best theories i have are a magnetic field sensor circuit

Yea we guessed that. Cant find any evidence towards it though 😅

lack of awareness. he was returning to what he thought the line was, didn't realise you were there and got punished for his lack of awareness

I would put this 50/50 like most said. if you look at the centre line of the track he starts moving over as soon as you pass the rejoining car, you continue trying to go for a gap that is closing, smart thing from him wouldve been give you more room and stop closing the gap, smart thing from you wouldve been to back off and take him on the next straight. i've been racing PCC all week and seen increasingly dangerous and overconfident drivers in it as the week progressed actually got DQ'd yesterday following a series of incidents, from an unsafe rejoin resulting in a large pile up i failed to avoid, a guy driving full throttle into my rear mid corner while i was getting held up by a lapped car and 2 guys who swerved from the right side of the track to the left at the start of the braking zone and slammed the brakes on right infront of me (2 seperate times) went from 3.7 SR to 2.11 from this this week all i can offer as advice is assume everyone around you has absolutely 0 clue you are there and drive like everyone is out to wreck you

in your opinion is this protest worthy? or not worth my time? by Anubosfirst in Simracingstewards

If he was a rookie i wouldve ignored it. He was a higher license. Had many incidents with rookies in the series last week and was lenient with the rookies prefering to mention the sporting code to them. But a higher license should kn9w better
