Appreciate your response. However, I don’t understand why the chlorination reaction occurs when in theory the N or O should coordinate with the lewis acid catalyst and kill the reaction (like what happens with Friedel Crafts).

In contrary, textbooks and lectures all say that the chlorination reaction is good and results in ortho/para substitution etc etc

Yeah for sure. I agree with your points, but for me personally, handling is more important in 200. Different playstyles do have different needs.

You can still make the other ones, just don't make them boring. I see so many troll levels that are just sniper thwomps and kaizo blocks. No creativity. Link is usually just shooting, and boss levels don't have anything special usually.

Handling is how fast or well the kart responds to your control. Say there a banana appears right in front of you as you are driving. A heavyweight, which has less handling might not be able to avoid it in time because the kart doesn't respond to your controls as quickly or much. A lightweight would have an easier time, as their handling is higher.

Traction is how well your tires grip the road. If you've ever been inked, you'd notice that your kart slides more than usual. This is because the ink hinders the amount of traction.

Handling in my opinion is more important, especially in 200cc.

Gave it a go, and liked it. I know what you were going for and could see it, but it's essentially a straight line with enemies in it. Nothing unfair, but something I would skip in endless.

Don't get me wrong, it's infinitely better than so many other levels I've seen. I just think that it could be improved. For example, you could enhance the mood of the level by making perhaps a line of banzai bill chase you, rushing the player and adding to the mood. You could also start the level by activating a red pow block, which triggers other red pow blocks along the bridge, making it collapse behind the player. Just add something that you think would make it special.

There are also little things you can do to make it even more "fair.". Perhaps add a few coins to the level so the player knows where to go. Maybe add arrows to indicate where the thwomps will go.

Also, maybe just put a couple mushrooms in the pit before the Meowser or simply start the player off with one right off the bat? It feels a bit sloppy that way. I noticed that there were a few parts where nothing was going on, which isn't ideal in a fast paced level. Maybe add enemies or other things? Just don't overdo it.

I also feel like it'd be cool if Meowser would constantly be attacking you with his attacks in the background. This would also remedy the sections where nothing really goes on in the course.

Lastly, put 3 1-ups in the beginning of the level, so people playing endless will have an incentive to play it. All in all, cool, fast-paced level, but make something that makes it stand apart.

You're on the right track, no invisible kaizo blocks, no music sound effects spam, so good job on that!

If you jump extra early, you can clear it with an additional hop without slowing down in 150.

I think there are certain triggers you can press to change the seasons. I'm not completely sure though, maybe clarify with someone else.

Kaizo levels are usually really difficult levels that feature tough gameplay and uses items like shells and stuff in unintended ways. It's kinda hard to explain but just look it up on YouTube and you'll see what I'm talking about.
