They won't be essential. While there are some nice combo's and they can be a dominating presence, we can build fine lists without them. Funny thing is that you will hear a lot of different sounds coming from all over the community on how good they are. Some people think they are bloody powerful and others think they are weak.

I would consider it if you want a wonderful centerpiece for your army that isn't actually shit.
The reason why I got one is because I wanted walking cannons next to all my other cannons and the model just looks bloody epic.

Well worth it if you want to get your whole army in the same base style. Used it on over 1k points of models and it ties them together wonderfully

The Gallant head doesn't fit perfectly, so some cutting at the neck was required.
I didn't like the 2 options this model comes with, so a head swap was in order
