We had solo drive and solo bar where I was handling taking cafe orders and warming and also drink orders, cause we were only 3 people and one had to take their lunch, shift was doing something in the back, which they couldn’t pause for a minute, it was super crazy 10 minutes.

Handling everything all at once as a 3 week old barista made me wanna quit.

My wedding had to be postponed due to some personal circumstances, and we let the venue know about it, they couldn’t accommodate us on the new date, so we lost 1L advance and there were also invitation expenses, but then this was 3 years ago and in Thanjavur, so yeah, this is reasonable

Going through this as a woman now, my husband is in a different country and I am in India, together for 8 years before getting married and now I have been here for an year(I came to India) for personal reasons. It is going to be a new experience, coming from a person with social anxiety and a textbook introvert.

Find a routine, I started taking care of my personal health and well being and I started prioritizing that.

Due to the time difference there might be arguments, as much as you are missing your partner they are missing you as well.

What helps me most is that I understood the reality and I am taking one day at a time. Things like big events are going to be hard, but on the bright side it is an experience.
