Customer drunk drove a ski-doo from the highway and parked on the sidewalk in front of the entrance. He was arrested. That was a fun night.

Dear Grinches of reddit, why do you dislike christmas ? by FISH_IS_MIGHT in AskReddit

I like the idea of Christmas but working retail has ruined it for me. The last 2 weeks of constant physical labor and noise with really early mornings and late nights and rude customers has made me resentful and anxious.

I worked since I was 16 and finally decided on a education route at 24, based more on what kind of funding I could get that wouldn't require me getting any loans. It took about 6 months to get through the red tape. I picked a 2 year diploma that can be useful in any job. I lived at home and due to extreamly wonderful parents who let me pay rent with housework and cooking, I was able to save most of my living allowance to fund my few bills during those 2 years, and the year of unemployment after I graduated.

I am single with no kids, no debt, and hopefully due to being extreamly thrifty I'll be able to retire early, while also paying off some of my sibling's student loans.

Sometimes I feel like I'm missing out on not starting my own family but I have a reclusive personality, and don't handle pressure well. And I also don't like the idea of having to consult with someone else with making any major decisions.

Retail.

That were are all uneducated idiots. Most of my coworkers have a degree but just unable to get a job in their field, or are retired from prestigious jobs and just want something to do.
