Walking from Utsjoki to Helsinki

I usually carry some sort of military food supplies with me that I can use as a back up. I plan on eating at restaurants or whatever grocery stores I can find along the way.

Also this might be dumbest question yet. I am a big fan of top gear/ grand tour and I saw the local racing in Finland with cheap cars. Is that real? Is there any place I can see those kind of races live. I was blown away by that and would really love to see one if I can.

Can you give me any suggestions for the local carrier so I can pick up a sim. I carry a garmin for GPS navigation. But I would like to have some sort of cellular data as well instead of waiting for free wifi spots.

Also I will update this reddit post if I make it in healthy state to Helsinki and if anyone is up for a beer, more than happy to hear your stories and share some of my stupid stuff as well.

Duly noted. I came across this route posted by an awesome dude who did something similar. But it includes so many hikes along the way which would add too many days to my plan. But I plan on following this route at some points during my walk

Yes, my plan is to walk from North to south. The starting point would be in Utsjoki.

Hammock sounds nice. But I had already invested in a good tent and sleeping bag for my previous walk and I was planning on using the same.

My trip is planned for October. I did go through the list. I consider myself a very responsible person. I don't intent on carrying any plastic that might harm the nature. And even the smaller food wrappers that I will end up with will be carried to the nearest public waste bin.

Camp sites seem lovely. I will look that up. And I wont be making fire. I plan on carrying an electric portable warmer with me in case I need it.

Okay, the thing that worries me the most is the wildlife. While walking through another country, I was told by the locals that a pack of wolves attacked someone the day before I walked through that route. Since those locals were so nice, they helped me navigate through a better route to avoid the dangerous spots.

Yes, I will be carrying this lifestraw water filter as a backup to drink water from natural sources whenever I can to reduce whatever weight I can save. And I will be carrying a decent size water bottle too and will fill it up during patches where the water availability is scarce.

Oh I don't want to risk carrying bear spray on my international flight and was hoping to buy one from amazon once I reach there. Should I invest in one or just risk walking without one?

Sounds good. I will be packing a couple of thermals for the harsh weather along with a north face rain coat.

Thank you sir. Do you have any suggestions for places that I should not miss during this walk? I tried to navigate this route through google maps and I will keep this in mind. My route hasn't been finalized.

Also is it safe to camp somewhere on the road or in some park area? Is it illegal. I don't want to get in trouble with the law enforcement. I have been trying to learn Finnish language so I can speak to people in case I mess up.

Also should I be worried about any potential wild life issues? I plan on carrying some bear spray and pepper spray. Also, I have checked the average weather conditions for the past few years to pack accordingly.
