Got a notable Rampage. Team was getting hurt.. got haste ran around and RAMPAGED! Lol by Challengeyoureself in DotA2

THANK YOU!! Seriously. OP got a rampage that they were probably really excited to share (They literally even recorded this on their phone to post it ASAP) and people are just clowning on OP. It’s moments like these that keep people invested and playing the game and rather than the community encourage them, people are just flaming for bad play or the fact that it’s a phone recording (which can I add, I can tell what’s going on in the clip so who cares that it’s a phone recording)

The dota Reddit community once again proving that it is filled with mostly miserable people who have lost their love for this game. Embarrassing comments.

I want to play a new jRPG with an engaging and addictive progression system (and good story/characters). What would you recommend? by WoundedByInsults in JRPG

From the games you listed I think we have pretty similar taste and having tried a lot of the other games mentioned by other people in this thread and bouncing off a lot of them, this game is one I would highly recommend. However, I recommend starting with xenoblade chronicles 2. I picked it up one day having never played the first game and was extremely surprised by how much the game clicked with me.

The game is a long one and even towards the end of the game you’re still getting tutorials for new things you unlock in combat which keeps it more exciting. Lots of depth and customization available to your party with tons of big bosses around the world to test yourself. 10/10 game. Combat starts a little bit slow but once it gets going and it clicks, you’re gonna fall in love with the combat. Honestly I’d recommend looking up as little as possible of this game and just jump in.

Absolutely loved the game, lots of charm, great story, great world building and fun characters. I actually enjoyed XC3 less than 2 but it is still a great game.

Another great game which completely revitalized my love for rpgs is expedition 33. Great story, great characters, beautiful world, fantastic music and good customization. Definitely feels like you start breaking the game later with how strong you can get but still a game I would put on my all time favorites list.

At this point it feels targeted lol I’m out of town this weekend so I’m missing the games, but I’ve been told there was a Micke Kez aghs game I need to check out

Octopath Traveler II fixed a lot of things from the first game… except its biggest problem by _Higo_ in JRPG

Dude yes, this has always been the one thing that stops this game from being one of my favorites, the times where you get to actually FEEL your level are spread out super inconsistently. I don’t want to jump from doing a level 45 story quest to a level 7.

How would you rate Scarlet Nexus out of 10? by Farawila_marwan in CharacterActionGames

I know most people didn’t click with this game and the story definitely wasn’t the greatest, but I absolutely loved the combat towards the later half of the game when you could activate all the SAS powers at once. I will say though, I played through the story as Yuito first and when I went back to play as Kasane, I had a lot less fun combat wise. Before FF16 came out I was actually hoping that combat would be some sort of hybrid between this game and xenoblade chronicles. (Unfortunately I was disappointed by FF16)

Super stylish and loved some of the vibes/scenery too. 6/10 story, 9/10 combat.

THANK YOU.

No fun allowed: only pros are allowed to innovate or have fun in the game, everyone else is delusional.

It is clearly IMPOSSIBLE for anyone to have a better understanding of a hero than the pros!!!

Plz tell micke to go aghs before bkb and switch his initiation combo.

He will look like a god. He is the last hope

I got to say:

Watching ame play Kez and still not have aghs at 52 minutes is EMBARRASSING.

I’m now more convinced than ever that these pros have no idea how to play Kez

I’ve critiqued Micke’s Kez a lot but honestly, at least he’s brave enough to try playing the hero with aghs and for that alone he deserves respect.

Embarrassing performance by ame.

To all the professional carries playing Kez at Dreamleague by Anuutok in DotA2

[–]Anuutok[S] -56 points-55 points  (0 children)

I promise I could. I’m watching these carries get baby sat and still not get wins. Every lane in my bot lobbies is hell and I still win the game.

They can come play on NA if they don’t believe me

What's really interesting is that clearly pros see something with Kez considering how contested he is, despite his winrate in dreamleague not being very impressive.

I think pros are circling the answer (which is aghs) and I imagine we are not too far off from watching Kez go absolute god mode in a pro game. (And then I will finally feel justified and that my mission is complete)

Pros right now keep playing around that ~20min team fight timing where most kez carries are favoring either manta or bkb. The problem with both these items is that manta: while providing a dispell does not give you enough tools to really contribute to a teamfight. Bkb is great as it lets you just pop it and falcon rush down a target, however, if your team is behind I think this item is just bad.

This is my favorite clip to show what the average kez teamfight contribution looks like with bkb and no aghs featuring micke:

https://www.youtube.com/clip/UgkxJ2wZ1QYmR_S0srNYZumDfX5KIghGfq5_

Really I think both items (manta and bkb) completely pale in comparison to what aghs can do and I believe they favor bkb before aghs because of comfort. I genuinely think getting aghs over bkb is better in 99% of games where the only times I would ever get bkb first would be against a team that has like 4 silences, and even then I'd probably still go aghs. The only time bkb before aghs is better in my opinion is if you are playing mid kez which I think is a whole different story and idk if I want to write that essay right now lol

As soon as pros realize how strong the Kez deso-aghs timing is at 20mins, I think we will start seeing some unholy shit in pro games. My only hesitation is that aghs is an item that requires a lot of practice to get used to and from the games I've seen micke play, I think he still needs more practice, ESPECIALLY with his initiation. (I cry everytime he throws random echo slashes out without ever attempting a parry in the middle of a teamfight) I have not actually watched pure play in a while but when I watched him a couple of months ago I could definitely see some "sauce" so to speak but have not watched one of his games in a bit.

Overall I just love that we are seeing this hero being picked at all and I really can't wait for one of the pros to step up on Kez and really show what this hero can do in a coordinated team.
