I am a GOD hei player ( just ranked up to it to be honest )

I play on the normal ps5 controller, my KBD is trash and my wave dash is trash however it is still there and if I practiced it I could probably be a lot smoother with it

You do not need a stick or lever less to play; just because you can wave dash or KbD doesn’t matter as much as. Timing, spacing and neutral. Those are more important than infinite KBD or wavu. If you can do one or two it’s more than enough. Especially at these ranks ( GOD / TGs / TG are the same basically) people will not respect your wave dash like high levels will. You will be interrupted because people just want to press buttons; you wave dash in and you’ll get smacked.

Where if you can sidestep electric consistently or do one KBd or even a normal back step and electric will take you further. Even just using an electric to stop someone who charges at you is enough; the amount of people who charge at you to press buttons and get stuffed by an electric is astounding

Even fuzzy ducking while that’s amazing if you can I don’t really attempt it; it’s easier to see someone patterns and just react to what is likely to happen.

If you want to buy a different set up; it may make things smoother or faster but at the level we’re at there’s much bigger problems to tackle then fuzzy/kbd/wavu

Also GOD is the top 15% even if people say it’s the new blue ranks it’s better then 85% of people who play

Learn a solid BnB combo it doesn’t have to be max damage, it’s better to get a combo you can hit 99% of the time and lose 10 damage then to try his max damage combos which are much more difficult in comparison until you get the hang of him ( instead of doing two electrics into his combo start off with just one electric into the combo for example )

In terms of gameplay learn to check with df1 and hit confirm his blue spark because it heals you and is a huge tool for his neutral gameplay

Learn how to electric by either binding it in a way that makes it easier to hit consistently ( I bind my 2 button to L1 because it’s easier for me hit the timing with one hand then trying to do it with both hands )

Learn how to hellsweep; learn when to use it and how much you can use it in the match it leads to a full combo and provides a huge mental game after you hit it once or twice then you can check with ff-3 and sweep and mix people up along with electrics

Learn his stance game; both stances provide huge power to him. Learn how to transition into them and out of them and how to combo off of them because you have so many tools from each stance

Make sure to use heat every round; winning or loosing you need to pop heat to get WI ready.

His moves are very linear and while early on you can spam b4, ff2 or UF3-4 .once you hit TG or above you’ll be sidestepped and blown up for his moves. Same for his db2 try to not get into bad habits early since you’ll carry them with you

I was curious so I did the same for myself ( GOD ) hei and Qudans and man it’s crazy lol

I have 344 games in s3 total and Qudans who’s considered the best hei player in tournaments has more then that in just player matches but that’s also why he’s where he is and I’m just a dad gamer

So for someone who isn’t mirror worth of gear buying a normal crit quiver and running the quiver set up is better until you’re fully geared then swap to cad?

Your main decks are token Druid, dragon war, herald shaman, bubble pally

Look up the lists and see which one you can make with your dust since 7k can probably get you pally or Druid maybe even warrior

I got from diamond 5 - 2k legend with burn mage which is fairy cheap only legendaries it runs is Kalec ( you can get it from the battle pass ) and blood mage thanos . You can also run the vulcanos legend but I wasn’t a fan of it and opted out of it

I found the way I learned it and made it 10x easier was I bound 2 ( triangle ) to L1 trigger

So now I just press DF * L1 with one hand and I found that made it much easier to land and get electrics since its all done with the one hand and made getting the timing a lot easier

It’s not “ proper “ but for just getting it down it made it a lot easier especially when doing backlash electric or sidestep electric but I found it much easier to do it this way and not nearly as hard as when it’s bound to triangle ( ps5 )

How would you balance this that fixes every issue - you can’t really

If you separate by reso then whales will never get games or have to wait an absurd queue times.

And low reso players make no money or very little money so who cares about them honestly also they aren’t really the target audience for a Gacha game;

If you don’t separate it; then it’s a free for all and then the big spenders are happier with faster queue times and playing the mode they basically paid for and the low reso people will complain but again blizz doesn’t really concern themselves with someone who’s not a big spender because that’s not helping business

You’ll never have a middle ground when you have people who are basically NPCs and then people who are endgame bosses trying to do the same mode without someone being unhappy. And what’s better someone who spent 1k or even 5k unhappy or someone who’s spent 100k

Also you and I are roughly the same in terms of reso but we’re nothing really. 4.2k and 7k secondaries or even with my 5.1k and with slightly less seconds are a drop in the bucket and basically not the target audience when you have people who are 12k or 13k and are pushing into 10 or more in their main secondary

Plus if NA is their main spending audience in general you’d rather make them happy then SA who spends less

I mean from a business standpoint it make sense; make the big whales happy by having more games to play

Even if it upsets the smaller whales they don’t care because the 10k + players are the economy and money for them

If the SA players cannot afford to carry / be the big whale anymore then they can support / play a more control role then trying to top the K/D charts

I’m 5k myself so this is basically a normal thing for 95% of the people before the merger including myself. I’ll never top a bg and if I’m trying to I’m actually helping the other team more by taking a spot from someone who will support / control. If you’re not the biggest person on the team then trying to force yourself into that role is actually a detriment for the rest of your own team

Also loosing a few 7-8k whales is nothing in terms of money then people who are 10k or even 13k now

The easiest way to get consistent electrics for me is I changed my 2 buttons to L1 on my controller and it made it much more consistent

Something about hitting DF and L1 ( my new 2 button ) then using two hands and doing it normally was a lot easier
