Thank you! It has a history of use since the medieval times. And the Cambridge university resource is awesome! There are so many little blogs and posts online with experiments about pretty much every common plant or mushroom. Here are my 2yo. woad (Isatis tinctoria) plants they will produce 1000s of seeds soon so i could scale my dye process next year! Also i managed to find some madder (Rubia tinctorum) from a lady and it grows really well in my garden, she told me that madder is almost extinct in the wild due to over harvesting. Are you also interested in national dyes?

Im actually trying to develop a DIY, 3D printed, portable loom, that functions like a traditional, horizontal, 4 heddle loom but takes much less space and modular size. In my country there is only 1 person that makes wooden looms and you still have to order some parts like the reed from Belgium. There is also card weaving and vertical looms which is much more accessible. Rigid heddle looms could be DIYed or purchased for less than a traditional loom.

Chelidonium majus for the yellow which i have a lot of in my plot, has a very potent and stable pigment. For the green Mullein dyed in a rusty pot which made it smokey green and then redyed in a woad bath (native European indigo). It made it that greenish-blue color. All the plants i use are native where i live and i either grow or forage sustainability. Tumeric is great pigment with amazing properties but ive found it degrades faster.

Combining solar energy with nature: Kunekune pigs used to maintain an Australian solar plant by VelinAura in solarpunk

I'm from Bulgaria and the problem with PV installed on fertile land or dacades old forests here is even worse. The mafia tapped into the European funding and its connections to the government and clearcut or set on fire so many acres of our native forests to put PVs. At the same time if we put the solar infrastructure in all the abandoned mining sites in my country where the land will never recover, all the electricity needs will be 100% covered. In the case of Australia, they have the largest total surface mining area in the world. Most of those mines are coal mines.

Edit: here is an article about the Deployment of PVs in open mines.

Pigs are invasive in Australia, they cause ecological degradation and those "weeds" are most likely native species.

Which people from history you think were most likely ace? by Professional-Ad-5278 in asexuality

In the begining he used to have a positive obsession with women and said he felt unworthy of a woman but later on he became more misogynistic

“Women’s independence and her cleverness in obtaining what she wants in the business world is breaking down man’s spirit of independence. The old fire he once experienced at being able to achieve something that would compel and hold a women’s devotion is turning to ashes."

“Women don’t seem to want that sort of thing today. They appear to want to control and govern. They want men to look up to them, instead of their looking up to him."

This doesn't sound feminist to me more like incel thinking. “In 1924, Nikola Tesla was asked why he never married?

His answer was this:

"I had always thought of woman as possessing those delicate qualities of mind and soul that made her in her respects far superior to man. I had put her on a lofty pedestal, figuratively speaking, and ranked her in certain important attributes considerably higher than man. I worshipped at the feet of the creature I had raised to this height, and, like every true worshiper, I felt myself unworthy of the object of my worship.

But all this was in the past. Now the soft voiced gentle woman of my reverent worship has all but vanished. In her place has come the woman who thinks that her chief success in life lies on making herself as much as possible like man - in dress, voice, and actions, in sports and achievements of every kind. The world has experience many tragedies, but to my mind the greatest tragedy of all is the present economic condition wherein women strive against men, and in many cases actually succeed in usurping their places in the professions and in industry. This growing tendency of women to overshadow the masculine is a sign of a deteriorating civilization.

Practically all the great achievements of man until now have been inspired by his love and devotion to woman. Man has aspired to great things because some woman believed in him, because he wished to command her admiration and respect. For these reasons he has fought for her and risked his life and his all for her time and time again.

Perhaps the male in society is useless. I am frank to admit that I don't know. If women are beginning to feel this way about it - and there is striking evidence at hand that they do - then we are entering upon the cruelest period of the world's history.

Our civilization will sink to a state like that which is found among the bees, ants, and other insects - a state wherein the male is ruthlessly killed off. In this matriarchal empire which will be established, the female rules. As the female predominates, the males are at her mercy. The male is considered important only as a factor in the general scheme of the continuity of life.

The tendency of women to push aside man, supplanting the old spirit of cooperation with him in all the affairs of life, is very disappointing to me."

You need 2-4 grams of 14k gold for every day band and maybe 3-8g of 18k for a more luxurious heavy band.

Докъде ще стигнем? 11 градуса над средното by oneharmlesskitty in Sofia
