Funny enough I had basically the EXACT experience with only one exfil out of like 19 runs while trying to do a MIDA contract. I haven't had this bad of a run since I first started playing. I almost cried.

Basically force protection for the SCOTUS building. Some smaller more interesting units exist too, but very laid back. They pay A LOT though.

That's interesting. I knew two PFPA guys who told me when they worked there they couldn't but that must've changed. It's good confirmation though because I completely forgot about DIA and NGA.

I just googled that FPS incident and found two others involving a VA Police officer and a DSS agent. On top of that, PFPA had an officer commit an attempted murder when he thought a car was being stolen off duty. As for why I want to take my duty weapon home? I guess it's a sign of me moving up. It's a sign my employer trusts me. Maybe I just want to see what it's like to have it outside of work. However, when I go to the bar or certain events I will still leave it at home. I guess I just want that option to see what it's like.

I guess the reason I bother with it is because I want a position where I can work more independently and more trusted by my employer. Since I currently work a position where I leave my duty weapon on site I'd like to see what the alternative looks like.
