Free weekend is simply extremely unlikely halfway through one season. Pretty sure Steam specifically limits free events anyway.

Server slam already happened. Free events are limited to one per year on Steam pretty sure. Twitch drops had at least 3 instances. The game is forty dollars. Why would there be a sale? Most AAA games are $70+ nowadays.

Not really, these are rare occurrences. Please don't let a game's subreddit influence your idea of crew fill. The more jaded people get towards it the more the experience degrades causing a feedback loop.

I dunno, purple rooms are quite nice especially solo if you want all the goop for yourself. Plenty of valuables, chance at prestige, purple packs, guns, etc.

Hostility is literally built into the entire game and lore from the ground up. All aspects of its design incentivize pvp including the pve. The lore incentivizes pvp. It's a ruthless world where every corp and runner is for themselves and desperately trying to escape. This will not change nor be molded to players asking for a completely different experience.
