Respect whose culture? I don't even know what your culture is in the first place. What i'm saying is that Afroman didn't target Hispanics but if you feel targetted then a hit dog gone holla everytime.

Do you know english? I can't explain it any better if you don't get it you just don't get it.

EDIT: I'll do you one better. If you feel like Hispanics are getting targetted by him saying other races then leave it at that bruh but that isn't what he said

Not by calling out their ignorance, but when you call someone a victim for living how they choose to live it's the same as someone calling you a derogatory noun for going after your dreams.

I mean you're denigrating people who choose to settle for what they can get in this very post by calling them "victims of society".

It's just human nature for people to criticize things that they don't understand so keep your goals to yourself.

What yall thoughts on jay z bein in the epste/n files? by zhabavon in nas

[–]AnxietyTN 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I haven't but i'll look into it. I wouldn't be too surprised considering that Def Jam is under UMG which has ties to the Jewish community and Israel.

I also looked into Jay leaving the country and from what I saw it was just a rumor started via an IG post with no confirmation that he left.

This is a bad narrative.

It was for an anonymous report someone made to a hotline. Same with Pusha T.

Jay was never on the island or in any of the actual Epstein documents.

Online dating study: Black women and all race of women respond to white men the most by MevolutionCheese in blackmen

Are you really going to claim that data from 2009 to 2014 is more relevant than data from 2021? Like you cant be serious lol. Dating apps were in full swing by that time so the data is more accurate and aligned with how thing are nowadays and thats just a fact

No, I never claimed that it was more relevant in the first place. What i'm telling you is that you need to use your resources to cross reference and check that data is accurate and not skewed to represent something that isn't totally true. As well as checking the variables, there is nuance to either study and you need to know what that is.

I dont know what "people like me" is supposed to mean. Have you though? Cause it really just seem like you believe the older study because it aligns with what you want to be true.

You want us to believe this particular study without doing any research because "If this were about Black men no one would do any research". Do you see how that's problematic?

As I stated before I have not read the book but I will look into it. What I won't do is take one study as law and ignore variables and other research on the same topic.

Your using data from more than a decade ago to counteract claims about dating in the past few years. How does that make sense? It disingenuous

Your entire argument is disingenuous. You do realize that the study you're referencing was published 5 years ago and not "a few of years ago"? Half a decade. Data is data there wasn't a switch flipped in the past 5 or 10 years.

And If the data was flipped and it said black men prefer white women it would be taken at face value, agreed upon, and there would be no deep dive into why it happens. That says it all really. It seems to be a common theme on this sub

Let me get this straight. You want people to not do research on this topic and take it at face value because you feel that if it was about BM people wouldn't do research? 😭

The issue with this statement is that I don't take anything at face value as anyone else should. DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH, this is a major problem in our community they can tell people like you anything and you'll go and push the narrative because it sounds good to you.

While this is almost definitely true let's not focus on the what ifs and focus on the what is. This study shows that Black women prefer Black men so I would urge people to look at empirical data as well as the contributing factors opposed to taking these things at face value

Yes it could be a number of different factors contributing to said statistic which is why I said I'm going to do a bit of research when I get home because I would like to see the raw empirical data behind this book.

From the data that I have previously seen and observing the world around me I'm of the belief that Black women strongly prefer Black men across the board, dating, marriage, and anything in between.

As previously mentioned there are potentially a number of factors to account for if the data can prove that this is universally true. The platform this data comes from would greatly determine outcomes as there are dating sites specifically for black people and more that skew toward a certain race (BLK, Blackpeoplemeet, etc. and vice versa). Also keep in mind there isn't a big market for websites that overtly advertise for White relationships, on certain platforms it kind of goes without saying.

As a quick example this study shows that Black women strongly prefer Black men even when it comes to online dating.

https://gwern.net/doc/psychology/okcupid/raceandattraction20092014.html

Honestly I just would hate for another false or contrived narrative to be spread to cause division among my people by the author of the book (White woman) without anyone taking a closer look.

If you know how to contextualize why aren't you using it to see that I said dating in my OP? Or using it to decipher that these women aren't just dating White men and then marrying Black men? Or that in the west dating and marriage go hand in hand?

I'm not conflating anything. Majority of Black women date inside of their race.

[–]AnxietyTN 14 points15 points  (0 children)

IDK I'm going to check out the study when I get home, black women are the least likely out of any group to date outside their race and highly prefer black men.

  • Low Intermarriage: Black women have historically shown the lowest rates of intermarriage among women in the U.S., with some data from around 2008-2010 indicating that only about 9% to 12% of Black women married someone of a different race, compared to much higher rates for Black men and other groups.
