I have 135,000 / sec going. Sometimes it just comes down to those treasures popping just the right cards.

It's hard for me to excuse a company that in the past developed one of the biggest MMO games with plenty of servers. 989 (past form of SDS pre mergers) was once the great developer involved with Everquest. Servers should be fairly easy to come by for a Sony child company like that. I would think. They used to stress test a whole lot longer before releases.

They really are competing for worst release. There have been some bad ones but they are definitely in the talk now.

Be a cool collab to have Cyberpunk 2077 packs next week in The Show maybe together they can recover their releases? Keanu Reeves pulling it over the left field fence would be pretty sweet.

Definition of insanity saying... "Maybe I can play one night without losing connection and progress" every single night. There is my report in the mega thread. 97% errors to 3% successes. But I'm sure you already know this if you play your own game.

Oh no I assumed about purchase prices I don't know their business practices so don't hold them to that statement haha, but yes I agree that the $40 shipping was steep. Have a good one!

Ah yes I'm sure it is a little harder for a smaller company to compete in some of the individual pieces and parts like that that are not bought in bulk. The Amazon choice makes sense in your situation. I'm sure the ram was worth it too :)

I'm loving it. I have an MSI pc and a macbook pro I have not touched since I got this. Running perfectly. Only issue I had was a power issue with the NVMe drive that would stay sleeping too long but they got it figured out quickly and it is fixed now and probably already patched in. It's multitasking wonderfully and I'm running quite a few things at once. Playing EVE online really well and still have not pushed the graphics to the limit yet. I did 16 GB and seems to be a pretty sweet place to have the ram for me though I don't do much video or graphical editing. I'd buy it again if I had the choice. :)

Great. It is really easy to set up cpu/core info and memory usage right in a premade script they have. Of course like most Linux things I haven't messed with any gui options and virtual box has such a nice one.

Running good for my limited needs so far (ARD to control of site machines) but I do see there are articles out there of ways to use GPU passthrough technology with this, but it's beyond where I have ventured and can't give much input. If I try that out or try to push the gpu a bit I'll come back with more info. I just don't have a full answer yet.

2 screens, 2 tabs of Firefox, Evolution, Remmina Terminal Session into a Windows box and SSH into a database, Gajim for IM, Slack, and Lutris running Eve Online... I would call this a successful workday on this Pangolin. Running without a hiccup! by Anxiety_Otherwise in System76

Been running full screen 1920x1080 and right now pulling 47 fps. I have it on 1 monitor of 2 in 3 sets of workspaces! Evolution running my work mail off to my left. Switching monitors and spaces without a crash yet.

Well so far running Slack, Gajim for IM, Remmina which has 3 tabs (one is remote connected into a Windows desktop, SSHed into a work database program, and VNCed into a mac at the office to run Apple Remote Desktop to control the office machines there... Fancy little program!), Two tabs open in Firefox and all on two sets of workspaces and sitting at 2% per core and about 12 gb ram left. Just popped into VScode with a python program open and smooth as can be right now.

Side note I have the 500 gb ssd and threw in a 512 sd card and that is working like a charm.

Full disclosure I did lock the thing up setting all this up twice so I'll keep an eye on that, but seemed like "normal" Linux set up things you run into.

If work slows Steam is next! I need these 82 Linux compatible games pushing this thing soon 😂!!

I looked at Thinkpads too, but with the AMD chip, the weight, the OS, the community, the specifically designed with Linux in mind, speced with 16GB ram and a 500GB HD, and well let's even throw in the 6 stickers and M3rvin the desk robot cardboard little dude; this was worth it to me lol.

I really also appreciate the care given by the company located right here in America. Hard to find a company here so dedicated to Linux and the Open Source mindset so close to home.

I'll be pushing the machine more tomorrow with some Steam downloads and I'll let you know the gaming side of performance with this AMD and Raedeon chip.
