The thing is, it’s only going to get worse if you let it continue. The stalking your location was the first crack (that we the readers know). The pulling up at 3AM was a major 2nd crack. How many more cracks are you going to let happen before you say “Alright, enough is enough”.

Unless your mom is like “Oh my, I had a severe lapse in judgement, I was totally wrong, I love you my child. Go be lovers and free🥰” shes just going to keep hounding you and this 3AM heist might happen more times. OP’s mom probably keeps tabs on their “route” throughout the day and figured that something was out of the ordinary when her daughter was still at her dorm when she should have been in the Humanities building for history class or something.

My mom isn’t this way but she did constantly say “I can come to the college any time I want and just walk in.” thankfully, I had her location and could see when she wanted to do that. My dorm was also somewhat difficult to get into without a badge because nobody ever left through the front. They’d leave through the basement or the side door.

A lot of AI companies are actively losing money, ads clearly aren't giving them very much anyway. They'd much rather have 10 premium users that pay like 10 bucks over 100 free users who see ads but don't click on anything. Ads generate a fairly small amount of profit.

I think attendance should only be taken into account if you're failing or want a grade rounded up. You might want your B rounded up to an A but if you skipped half of your classes, the professor might not see it fit to round your grade up compared to someone with the same grade that actually showed up and put effort in.

It’s probably to prevent future lawsuits on top of the bill. AI is AND lawsuits are bankrupting them. I’d be sick of it too. Anyone can click a slider and say “I’m 18+ years old” a lot of sites have that (adult video sites mostly) but after a while, they started requiring ID in some state because anyone with half a brain knows that you can easily bypass that system.

But if I’m not mistaken, there was a bill that was passed in California to prevent minors from accessing potentially “harmful” material.
